Dan Lanning just became one of my favorite coaches. frick that piece of shite family. And I call BUUUUULLSHIT that Nico didn’t know any of this was going on and that the agent went behind their back asking for more.

It was also selfishly a smart move to tell UT. It avoided any possibility of getting dinged for tampering over a high profile player they didn’t even want.

I smell Lincoln Riley's interest from here. USC has the budget to get this done and he's back home where he can major in snowflake.

I don't know why people continue to believe this.

USC's NIL program is a running joke, even within their own fanbase.

Funny thing about that speck on bull shite, that speck is bull shite too.

I don’t believe any of that…. They fricked up and now are trying to make themselves the victim.

Parents are too emotional to be in these negotiations…the collective’s lawyer and the agent need to go through the numbers and come up with something.

I advised my son not to sign an NIL deal until he was the starter…but his agent said they can just renegotiate at that time…but why sign for a year? I’ll just stay out of it. Best that way for everyone.

Oregon/Lanning has the money and let Tennessee know what was going on. Good for him - I’m a fan now too.

If all this is true, who will want to see this kid now?

1. Nico is an adult in a free country and is the primary breadwinner for his extended family. If he allows anyone else to control his future, including his father or agent, that’s completely his fault and he must own it.

2. The story line that the agent went behind the family’s back and caused this is total BS. He may have shopped him without permission but no one made Nico skip practice except Nico. If this was all the agent’s fault, fire the agent, answer your coach’s calls, and tell him the agent is gone and you will be at practice.

When is he going to grow up? He had a $8M contract and if he wanted to stay at Tenn, he could have spoken up. What was his dad going to do, kick him out. At some point he needs to grow up. Guys his age without half the opportunities make adult decisions all the time.

If he wanted to be at Tenn and didn't want his dad speaking for him, he could have spoke up.
