There you go Tennessee, go get your coach.

Doubt we get Rick Barnes

Smart move by Texas. As long as Indiana doesn't open up they have the most attractive job out there by a pretty wide margin.
I am glad we moved quickly and grabbed Howland.

As well he should, if he has any honor. He has only made the NCAA tournament 16 of his 17 years, or a smidgen more than 94% of the time. What a loser!
Texas is so delusional. What coach in their right mind would want that job, knowing that 16/17 to the tournament gets you fired?

I'd take Rick Barnes in a heart beat. How many times did he NOT go to the NCAA tournament while at Texas?

He was a victim of his own early success. He would still be around if all he ever did was make the tournament. If you start making Final Fours and Elite 8's...then all you do is make the tournament, you are in trouble.

Barnes hasn't made it to the Sweet 16 in like 8 years and he's had some pretty talented teams in that span.

A bit convenient isn't it? I'm fricking shellshocked even opportunities happening at the right time scare me.

Look up
Most teams in the country would love to have him. Texas fans... thanks for the laugh.

Texas underperformed and he was paid too much for the that piss poor performance in his coaching.

He may have underperformed a little with the talent he had, but you could definitely do a lot worse than Barnes.

Bama will be offering full control of the program and as much money as he wants.
I like our chances still.

LOL, Marshall is going to Texas. If Bama is smart, they would out bid UTenn for Barnes. If not, Bama will be stuck with a Steve Lavin.

Now that is a job Marshall would leave for.

Hell no. We need to steer clear of Barnes.
Can't make the second weekend with Durant and Augustin? No thanks.

Didn't he make it to the Elite 8 with Durant?
