I can't remember, been so long ago. But for a young man wanting to test his metal, great place.

This board is dead, surprised not more talk about the big game just around the corner on 9/21. I guess it's just a slow week in SEC country.

Rammies are 0-2 with close losses to CU and Tulsa but continue to improve on both sides of the ball. To be objective, I have to think Alabama has the advantage because they're playing at home.

Don't know much about Alabama but I heard they looked like shite but won their opener. Then some week 2 bye? That's a mistake, right? Do you play anyone good this week?

Cheers, hope to meet some bros in Tuscaloosa. Any recs for MMJ friendly establishments would be appreciated.

Cool man, you will have fun here. Pretty much everyone smokes dope in this town, but I don't know of any "public establishments" that would openly allow you to puff. Just do it before something.

Private establishments?

None besides a private residence, or down by the river, or in one of our nice parks.

Welcome to Tuscaloosa.

Give us your best effort - we're counting on you to give our third stringers some experience and help us determine who needs to be processed in the offseason.

It was a big win. Need to get the boys some confidence going into the big game.

I understand Alabama is vulnerable after a big games (A&M last year), ton of yards after LSU in 2011.

"We're going in it expecting to win," senior cornerback Shaq Bell said at a weekly news conference that also included senior center Weston Richburg. "A lot of people won't believe in us, but we'll believe in that locker room."

CSU catching Bama at a good time, coming off the TAMU game.

I like Colorado State +40 this game, because I think Saban will show too much respect for McElwain and call the dogs off early.

I know. I've been saying that for months.

I think it will be a very similar to how the A&M game unfolded in 2012. Not sure we have the athletes...we'll see, but not yet convinced, and home field be a significant edge.

Sir, I believe you meant "+4".

3 for home field and 1 for experience. Everything else is fairly equal.

Ignore the naysayers, dude. This is a classic match-up between Old School Bama Offense in Jim McElwain and New School Bama Offense in Doug Nussmeier. McElwain has two NC rings to Nussmeier's one, but Nussmeier is in much better shape than McElwain. The nation waits breathlessly to see where the real future of CFB lies.

I saw that score come across the wire the other day. I didn't even realize Cal Poly played tackle football.

What do you teach, Economi...oh, right. I think I picked up on the clues.

Why wouldn't students be looking forward to it? If you're CSU, it really doesn't matter which upper-level BCS team you play. Might as well enjoy the experience of watching them play one of the big boys. If I'm Kent State, I'd enjoy the hell out of playing LSU last week, for example. When the beatdown is inevitable, you learn to take pleasure in the rest of the experience.

Don't sleep on Colorado State. I was in Tiger Stadium in 1992 when the Rams defeated Curley Hallman's Mighty LSU Tigers, 17-14.

I couldn't understand why everybody was so pissed and leaving at halftime. Then somebody told me that it wasn't halftime. The game was actually over.

:kige:

On a road/neutral field, I would give the Rams a second look as an upset special

I think we've met in a professional setting...not positive but you've said enough.

I apologize, but I can't possibly divulge my true identity on here.

I don't know any students, but there are alumni who look forward to being mentioned on national TV again. The culture of winning has been dead for about 10 years. That's at least 2 generations in college.
