Yep. Officials are only human. They only have the luxury of watching it on tv when they do replays. Hell, teams hold on almost every single play.

Yeah, if you think about it, a penalty could be called on every play if they wanted to. Can they not review the clock and call the delay on review in that situation? They didn't even review it.

I guess not. Stoops was screaming at them, but they didn't. Pretty unfortunate for UK. Not the only reason they lost, but a pretty critical one.

Acting like the no call wasn't a big deal is crazy. 4 and goal from the 12

It wasn't 4th and goal.

As bad as Robinson was killing us? Not sure it would have mattered. We have a bad habit of turning a good player into a heisman lock.

Yeah, how he gets that open starting from the 8 yard line is pretty awful for our DB's.

But, it also highlights our struggle this year. Very thin at all positions and not enough depth to last overtimes, much less 3 of them.

Thanks for the correction. To many games not enough memory to file the info.

It was on 4th down. I misread someone's comment.

The play clock has to be at 0, then the back judge looks at the ball and if it has not been snapped, then it's a delay. It's not a penalty the instant the play clock hits 0.

The Bear always claimed good teams get lucky breaks, bad teams get unlucky breaks. Last nite UK, much like Vandy over the yrs, just showed that they are not yet over the hump & deserving of good breaks. Regardless of the down & lack of coverage, any coach wants that play run over if there is a penalty. Safe bet Stoops bitches to the league office, though lots of good it will do him.

Demarcus isn't just a good player. He is a great player, this is not a surprise. I expect him to have a spectacular year against everyone.

Robinson was great, I really think if we had made some adjustments and covered him better. The game would've been alot different.

Driskel didn't really look elsewhere, but why when throwing it to Robinson was working so well.

Question for Gatorfans. I remember Driskel being highly touted, whats up with this guy? His numbers were good, but he really looked average last night especially with the way your running game should've set him up, Towles actually looked alot better IMO.

Do you guys consider him a bust so far in Gainesville? Or is it just injuries and him going through so many OC's that have him looking, well average and not playing up to his potential?

My opinion:
Jeff is very average. He has the tools, but no instincts. He can make great plays (2nd half, and OT), and horrid ones (1st half). I think he has had a raw deal in college- until this O, they were trying to make him a pro style QB which he isn't. I think he is much more comfortable this year, and I think he is good enough to beat a good team. But IMO he will never be a great QB.

Depends on how fast he cools down. If he is already on to the next game and cooled out today it may already be over.

They did, but the SEC said the refs followed proper protocol.

Every time something like this happened people act like they don't know how delay of game works.

It won't be called the instant the clock hits 0. The official has to see the clock then see that the ball isn't snapped so there's a slight delay. If the ball is snapped a split second after 0 it won't be called.

For some reason, he is not keeping the ball on the zone read options. He ran that play perfectly in 2012. He could of scored about 6 to 8 touchdowns on the ground this year, if he had kept the ball on the read. I consider him a serviceable QB as of now. That 4th and 7 throw was actually pretty damn clutch. I am not to hard on him like most Gator fans. He has had terrible Oline play every time he has started for us. Thats one reason he makes only one read or 2 reads at the most.
