Duke and Heartbreak treat women the way they are supposed to be.

but I can tell most have never been to Fayetteville.
Maybe if LSU played in Fayetteville more than once every 50 years, we would know more about the town!

Fayetteville sounds really cool, and much like Athens. Athens' downtown is across the street from the historic part of campus. Downtown athens has a ton of atmosphere and multiple unique bars, restaurants and shops. I'm confident it's as ideal an interaction of town and gown as can be found.
Fayetteville sounds about the same, plus i know the topography up there is beautiful. i've actually been to fayetteville several times, but only got as far as wrmc, as i came in on the ach helicopter!

I've heard a few comparisons between Fayetteville and Athens.
Fayetteville's town and gown mingle completely too. Anywhere you are in old town Fayetteville, you look west and you see Old Main (the building as my avatar) looming over the city from a hilltop.
Dickson Street runs the valley between the campus and Mount Sequoyah ( a "mountain" with an old "necking" overlook, 5 minutes from downtown) The Square is a little southeast of Dickson, sits on another hilltop, and is very picturesque, with pristine mountain views to the south (like in my sig pic).
I also wish the LSU game was played in Fayetteville. But our politicans all live in Little Rock and they disagree.

the chant used to be oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh weeeeeeeeeeeeeee ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you suck. we did it after kick offs. it got taken away bc we added cock to it for the usce game. came back as geaux tigers.
When I got to LSU in 03, no one said shite when that song was played. They just did the back and forth thing. Then came the oh we oh, then a year or so later some 2.0 GPA students started the "you suck", then the 0.5 GPA students using other peoples' IDs added the cock, which only lasted for a couple games.

I'd like to say something nice about South Carolina. They have a very impressive stadium despite not having the same tradition of some of their SEC brethren. Their gameday atmosphere was intense and they had this cool train thing outside the stadium.
