Because if Putin wins then he’ll be bordering a NATO country…then it’s only a matter of time till he invades the NATO country and we have to get involved at that point ( article five). Makes much more sense to send money now and stop him here instead of bodies and blood later.

The AG has limited power to fight crime. They’re the state’s attorney. The AG cannot intervene or investigate a case unless the local DA invites them in or the DA recuses themself from a case. (No, the AG does NOT have control or jurisdiction over DA’s.)
