I know what you mean - Florida has beaten Georgia 21 times out of the last 27. Not much of a rivalry.

Crap, I remember it very clearly. What's your point? In the last 60 years Auburn and georgia have the same number of National Championships. For some reason Auburn fans seem to think there is an expiration date on titles. if there is, what is that expiration date? I'm curious.

Meh. Here lately it seems to be turning back again.
We are 4-3 in the last 7, soooo

I never said anything about Dabo. I simply said I'm not sure Smart is that great of a coach at this point. This was partly based on UGA's schedule being weak this year, with the SEC east being dreadful and MSU being terrible on the road.

You guys are the ones who brought up Dabo.

There isn’t one iota of difference between what Richt did and what Kirby has done so far. None. Kirby being able to eat more BBQ sandwiches or playing in the Rose Bowl isn't a qualifier or even empirical data for obvious reasons. When you are having to manufacture things to try and separate them it just shows how at this point they are the same.

CLemson plays SC and another SEC team almost every regular season. HOw is that different than UGA?

Georgia has the balls to do both games on the road in the same season.

Road games are more challenging. Does Syracuse ring a bell.

Playing at GT is a bigger deal than playing at Syracuse. We won the GT matchup 38-7. How did you guys do at Syracuse? Or home against GT?

Except one played for a natty and one didn't, and one has the #1 recruiting class which one never had. But other than that, yeah nothing.

I am directing this at him, not you.

I am pretty sure he was not alive yet which I never understood why anyone cares about championships that they were not around for. There is only 1 NC that I care about for AU, that is 2010. I can appreciate the history of 1957, but I can't honestly say it ranks up there with a natty that I experienced. Also, there is a expiration date on how long you enjoy the Championship. 2010 is pretty long ago now. Unless you are Bama, you just get back in the mindset of "when is the next time going to happen". It sort of sucks.

The GT win was an easy win, it rained like crazy the entire game.

Obviously CLemson's QB was hurt in the Cuse game and you know this.

How did UGA do at Auburn, the team Clemson sacked 11 times? I think UGA probably loses to Auburn again if they had Pettway or healthy Kerryon.

I don't think UGA typically schedules two away games with P5 teams.

No. You said you weren't impressed with Kirby. I simply pointed out that Kirby has done a whole lot more than Dabo ever dreamed about in the same time frame.

Yep. So, were you impressed by Dabo in his first 7-8 years? You don't seem to want to answer that.

I never had a problem with Dabo. I don't think anybody was hyping up Dabo at that point like they hype up Smart so your analogy is forced and dumb.

Who did Smart beat this year in conference that was as talented as the FSU teams that Dabo saw?

UGAs 3rd best win last year was @ Notre Dame. They finished #14 nationally. Miss State finished #23 nationally.

You really represent the taterhead nation well.

Are you implying that the Clemson's 3rd best win is better than the #14 ranked team in the country?

Richt won an SEC Championship. He also finished #2 in the country.

Kirby hasn’t done anything that Richt wasn’t able to do.

How many SEC teams have played in the Rose Bowl the last 50 years? You act like this was a possible thing.

It was a matter of circumstances nothing more. That is trying to manufacture things to separate two guys that up until now have the same accomplishments. Richt didn’t need a mulligan against a team either to accomplish his SEC Championship in year 2.

I'm talking about the regular season, you sidewalk fan.

I have nothing against Smart....I just think it is premature to claim he's an amazing coach given how bad the SEC East has been.

My apologies. I shouldn't have gotten involved. We have trolls, and when our trolls troll other fan bases I should not get involved. Other fan bases have every right to defend their team from our trolls.

Again. My apologies.

We've schedule 2 OOC P5 away games before. The previous time was in 2009.
We played 3 OOC P5 opponents that year.
@ Oklahoma St
@ Georgia Tech
And home against Arizona State that year.

For a taterhead to even whisper about scheduling to a UGA fan is retarded.

Ok, that doesn't prove my point wrong that UGA played an easy schedule this year, which is based on how dreadful the SEC east was.

You aren't even responding to my point when you talk about OOC scheduling. Moreoever, G Tech wasn't good this year. It is almost like you think they were ranked this year.

He didn't play for the national Championship, though. He got #2 because he won a game and the #2 team lost. Spin it any way you want, but he did not play for the National Championship.

Again, Richt could have played for a National Championship but he did not. To argue that point is dumb. It's an easily verifiable fact.

There is a reason we played Auburn for the SECC you know. Want to guess what it is?

No matter what Richt did in his Bowl game he could not have finished with a national Championship. Kirby played for the national Championship and Richt did not.
