Florida State started out -2 and now up to -10. Apparently both of Oklahoma's starting offensive tackles and number 1 running back have opted out, but what else caused that shite to move by like 500 percent?

I'm not doubting you but when was it -2? Even full strength I would have expected FSU to be around -6 or so.

Something like 20 guys from OU are not suiting up because they've already transferred / they're sitting out for the draft / injured.
Meanwhile, Florida State is trending upward and just finished one of their best regular seasons in recent history. And the game is in Orlando if I'm not mistaken.

This game has backdoor cover written all over it and I think I'll sit this one out.

Despite Venables being a defensive guy, OU's strength is still offense and the defense has still struggled mightily (akin of the Lincoln Riley regime). Could see this going a number of ways, but am pretty confident that FSU at least wins the game

OU wasn’t bad at all all this season when healthy, but they were also extremely thin. They were awful at times when they had a only few players miss games.
Take away half their contributing players, and most people expect them to get rolled.

FSU has no excuse not covering on this one. A 9-3 team with literally no opt outs against a 6-6 team with over 20 players out. OU is playing this one for the practices and the trip to Florida, but they ARE playing it at least. This is one of the two 9-3 vs. 6-6 matches ups, Oregon State/Florida being the other, OU is playing the wrong Florida team.

What sucked for them is that all efficiency on offense is through Dillon Gabriel. Literally all of it.
He's a great ball player, but take him away, and they don't have a chance to keep up

Well TCU showed the blue print on that one.

Well especially since Evers is in the portal. Beville is not the answer and I'm not sure you have any reason to play the "Willdozer" for this game, you want to get your players time.

I would think Jordan Travis' decision to return to FSU and play in the game is a big part of it.
