Anyone can promise anything.
I’m sure some handlers were taking cuts. I’m sure people were promising money they didn’t have.
The money isn’t guaranteed just because you sign an NIL.

NIL cannot have performance metrics by NCAA rule.

How does that work?
Ask Jimbo Fisher and A&M. They know.

Jimbo is a good recruiter. All the speculation on this board about A&M having a $50M NIL team was a complete unsubstantiated frickfest.
Lots of claims but zero evidence. Like 95% of the bullshite on this board.

The money dried up when the IRS went after their collective

It is well known throughout the state of Texas that NIL commitments for aggie players are not always honored. Elko is walking into a nightmare. It will be difficult for a&m to play .500 ball from this point forward.

Our money long. We do not care about the money.

The stuff you guys actually believe is insane.

Do people think we actually lied to and welched on paying Evan Stewart and he’s stuck around for two years?

Looks like also, you don't really give a damn about winning college football games.

He damn sure did. Part of his leverage was his recruiting classes. Part of his advantage was that dumbfrick we call an AD.

There is no way performance metrics are legal NIL money.

I think the folks on here are just ignorant . . .yes, there are stupid people on this website babbling on angrily and confidently about things that have never crossed their mind before.
Stewart has a fairly massive social media presence and has used that influencer channel in a pretty savvy manner. He is earning in a different way than the average Texas kid driving around in the leased Lambo.

Then we would have kept ole Jimbo instead of paying him to leave. Stay on track here

Lol. If this were true at all, our players would have been gone a long time ago.
It's truly amazing to me what kind of unsubstantiated internet nonsense some of y'all are gullible enough to believe.
