Judging by the threads on the SEC rant, I'd say the fear is with Bama fans that they'll be left out.

You lost to LSU at home. You will not win the SEC. You must get used to your rightful place behind LSU.

So now we are analyzing injuries and fumbles? We lost our best OL and Maze sprained his ankle. So you can see how stupid this injury crap is.

1) Oregon lost a non-conference season opener
2) Oregon lost at a neutral site
3) Oregon will have won its division
4) Oregon will have won its conference
5) Oregon will have more wins than Bama (+1 for Pac 12 Championship.
6) Oregon will likely have as many if not more wins against ranked teams (Bama may only have 1 by seasons end, while Oregon would likely have wins against Stanford, and 2 vs ASU).

All Bama will have is a closer loss, but at home. Period. That's it.

The TRULY ironic thing is all the shite they talked about AU in 2004 getting left out.

And AU did not lose to anyone.

Seriously hypocritical.

It will be completely ironic if OU jumps bama at the end. Gumps in 2004 said over and over and over Bama would have gone because they are more respected. And AU started that year about number 20. Not top 5 like bama this year.

I agree as well. Plus people are discounting the fact that Oregon hung 50 on an undefeated team and destroyed them. Yes, you should get credit for playing an extra game in the conf. Championship. If you are going to get penalized for losing it, then you also have to get bonus points for winning it. Also Oregon is the only team all year who moved the ball against LSU and outgained them by quite a bit.

LSU fans don't want to play Alabama again. They know Bama is their biggest threat to unseat them . Can't say I don't blame them because if the roles were reversed I would be saying the same thing as they are.

End of the day, I think a 1 loss Oregon and 1 loss OU both jump bama and bama ends up number 4 in the BCS if OU beats OSU.

So you think playing in the PAC 12 is the same as playing in the SEC? Really?

You think beating Stanford who hasn't beaten anyone this year is a big win? They barely beat USC who is on probation and gutted of players.

Go look at the Oregon schedule. Who did they beat that says they are the second best team in the country?

If all goes as planned alabama will start losing points because penn state is going to drop its lsat 2 games and arkansas will lose its last making your strength of schedule go down while uo or ou or osu sos will go up there last games because they will beat ranked teams... Comprenda?

Never said that, but they'll have beaten a top 10 ten team just like Bama beat Arky.

Who the hell has Arky beaten? A 5-5 A&M? A collapsing USCe team that could only muster 17 points against UF? Really?

Bama fans are really really butthurt. Wow.

I don't thing Oregon will jump Bama but I've seen stranger things happen.
Oklahoma has a better and chance to jump Bama especially if they blow out okie state.

OU played 3 ranked teams. Lost to one of them. The other was Stanford (snicker) and Arz. State (snicker).

Comprenda?

LSU doesn't want to play Oregon or Alabama, been there done that and WON. What's the point? Neither of these games was in Tiger Stadium. Bring some fresh meat. Hoping Okie State stays undefeated and LSU can play them.
