Going from rank amateur to good at something is often hard work but anyone giving that as an answer to how their team or they are so good at the elite level is shoveling horse manure and/or just not wanting to answer the question. At the D1 level everyone is putting in hard work.

Nobody loves a 1-0 win more than Alabama softball. It's literally our goal every night.

Not that complicated. A lot of the best players have gone to OU. Softball players don’t really leave early for the draft so you have them for 4 years or 5 with Covid. So OU just buys the best of the best and contacts the best players from other teams to pay them to portal and then we fill them all up with massive amounts of performance enhancing drugs and use video equipment to steal signs and relay it to the hitters with electric shocks, pay the umps and big the opposing teams dugout. Again, pretty simple stuff.

These 'dramatic' last inning HRs don't happen on their own.
SDSU v Utah is delayed for lacrosse - pretty sure the goalie for one school is wearing sweat pants and they toss their sticks on the ground when they score. I can't respect a sport like that.
