Auburn by far. Sky hIgh expectations. Low job security.

Freeze was destined for 3 losing seasons in a row. The only reason I didn’t want to fire him was because of all the other openings. Im not sure there’s a school in the SEC that would keep a coach that had a losing record after 3 seasons.

Harsin? Come on. He was terrible.

LSU! The governor is going to control the contract and who they hire. Who they want will not sign the contract they will offer. It will be interesting. Also, expectations are so high that it is a gamble for a coach to take that job without fu money and favorable terms. JMHO.

LSU will be interesting to watch. They have a very high opinion of themselves

Auburn plays Bama and Georgia every season. Not saying that they cant win against either of these two, but maintaining consistent success with who consistently top 10 teams on your schedule every season is just gonna be a harder task than what LSU and Florida have to deal with

A caramel sundae is hard to beat. Throw some cashews on it too. Dang you got me craving one now.

Exactly what Auburn needed, and still does need.

Gus left behind an awful culture, and it still persists. Harsin was fixing it.

Either Auburn or UF. They've got the Yellawood guy calling the shots, we've got a worthless AD through 2030.

Ole Miss once Kiffen leaves for a better job.

Depends on the timing of him leaving. I would think OM is a more desirable job than Auburn this year.

Harsin was an awful hire. I knew he'd flame out just like McElwain did.

Normally I would say Auburn but now with Louisiana Governor meddling. I would say both are tied at the moment. Florida to my surprise is probably the most attractive SEC school with a HC opening.

And I’m confident our AD has both hands on the wheel already..he’s one of our best attributes as well as our chancellor

You say this as though UF doesn’t have booster and NIL issues, as well as a liberal school that for its size really doesn’t support football like the rest of the SEC.

UF should be a top 3 job in the country, I don’t think it is right now.

And yellawood ain’t that rich guys. It’s not like he is worth billions. I’m not sure how much he has to throw around anymore.

To be fair to Freeze, he really was 2-3 Olineman and decent Qb play away from being 9-3.

We do have a potential young stud at Qb. We’ll see.

Defense is very good.

The problem is keeping them. Starting today, everybody worth having on Auburn‘s roster is going to have their representative contacting teams or have teams contacting their representative.

The second a new coach is named, he’s got 5 days to try and save the roster. Unless it’s Durkin or someone else on staff, it’s going to be incredibly difficult to overcome weeks or months of shopping for offers and/or back door from other programs. Quite a few are probably going to bolt.

Heck, Saban retired after the season. Bama hired Deboer, who had just coached in the national title game, two days later (thus a proven commodity) and we still lost Isiah Bond, Caleb Downs, Amari Niblack, Julian Sayin, Roydell Williams, and a few others.

Yes he is. Depending on what source you consult, his net worth is somewhere between 1.2 and $1.7 billion.

He’s easily the richest man in Alabama and the state’s only billionaire.

As we should. Three national championships since the turn of the century.
