The top of the east, basically.
But who knows... it might still fall in the order I predicted. I did pick UF to win the east, and it can still happen haha.

I didn't think Alabama would be leading the nation in scoring defense - again.

Someone needs to bump the preseason SEC standings threads....

Guess our samples are just completely different. We'll just agree to agree that my sample size is better. Science and what not.
Well cant argue with science.

I thought the LSU D would be better than they've shown to this point, but that was probably unrealistic
Thought Aubie would be middle of the road, which they could still be
Thought mizzou would surprise
Thought arky wouldn't
Thought UF would be better
So some hits and misses

Lsu's defense. There I said it.

I was a little wrong about LSU, UGA, and Florida being elite. I also expected Jalston Fowler to have more success this year.
I was quite wrong about auburn and Missouri being doormats.
I was very wrong about Amari Cooper and TJ Yeldon having dominant years.

How big of a drop off the oline would be this year. Last year they had a bunch of individual talent, but AJ still got sacked and defenders in the backfield. This most clear example of this is during the CSU game. Two 1 star defensive lineman pushed two of alabama's linemen straight back at the snap into TJ on a handoff. Like they didn't any fancy moves or anything; they d-linemen just out powered alabama's group.
Which is sad because I feel that this year is Saban's best group of skill positions on offensive.

Nowhere near enough people are ownin how wrong they were on JFF.
Own it.
I thought we'd beat Auburn soundly.

I will own up to it. I mean it is pretty much the standard that football players get side tracked with off the field drama and it shows on their performance on the field. He turned out to be an exception.
How about the aggy D though?

Didn't think we would score 41 ppg minimum through 8 games and still have 2 losses.

Thought Arkie would be better.
Didn't see Auburn or Missouri being this good!
Predicted LSU would finish 9 - 3 (about right), but didn't see the offense being this good or the defense being this bad.

It's amazing how bad that defense really is. Rules about playing in the SEC.... It will be a tough time without any kind of defense. I've watched alabama win a natty off of screens, play actions, and running between the tackles.

Thanks for reminding me.
I was way, way off in my belief that Aggie fans couldn't POSSIBLY be bigger douchebags this year than they were last.

I said Auburn would not win an SEC game and that the aubs were the most delusional about their new coach. Clearly underestimated how bad a job Chizik did and majority were right that Ark was most delusional about the new coach. Also did not think Manziel would have as good a year as he is having

I expected LSU to only have one loss. I expected Ole Miss to lose to Texas and to upset A&M. I expected Johnny football to implode. Missouri was not undefeated and I expected Auburn to have 3 loses.

Thought UGA would be better, but some of that miss is attributable to the injuries.
Said Ole Miss would decline. In actuality they're about the same, will likely finish with 4 losses. That level of mediocrity is good for them, and they seem to still think they're poised to be SECW-contending, which is laughable. So I missed on the projection that their fans would get a reality check. The reality is there, they're just not accepting it.
Thought Auburn would be a little rockier, predicted 8-4/7-5. Looks like they'll probably exceed that.
Thought Alabama would be a little more pedestrian. We'll see if the early season cracks surface in the final stretch of the season.

I'd like to add that I was convinced since August that Ole Miss would beat LSU.
Posted on 10/30/13 at 2:25 pm to BennyAndTheInkJets
I thought that we'd go 11-1 and be back in the SEC title game.
