So I haven't really been following this that closely and I know there's a lot of trolling going on from both sides.
But I am interested in what consequences if any could actually come up this.
Are we talking it just makes LSU not play the players, fines, suspensions, scholarship reductions, or are these not on the table at all? I don't know how all of this works so is it just a money thing or is it a player eligibility thing like what honestly could come of this realistically speaking, is it truly nothing at all will come of it or something could actually come of it?
Also Austin Simmons went 17 of 19, 254 yards, and four passing touchdowns last night in Missouri's game against Arkansas pine bluff.
Now say what you will about the opponent, does anyone here think that they're starting quarterback will have a game this year with similar or better statistics than that and if so against who?

Most likely scenario is LSU doesn’t play them and has to compensate the kids. Then it all goes away.

The SEC is really going to cut a founding member with 4 legitimate NCs (three since 2003) and a massive media draw?

Hearing the SEC is going to make it come out of next years rev share, they are after blood.

The TRO + preliminary injunction are in place to prevent any punishment to the parties.
A judge says, "Yes, you can play these players now without fear of punishment from the SEC. Because if you waited for a final judgement after the full court case to go through, the window of eligibility would have lapsed for these players and it would cause irreparable harm to the players financially and the school's ability to field a better roster for the 2026 season which would result in financial damages to the school. The harm towards the SEC from these players playing is less than that to the players not playing. In addition to that, any financial damages to the SEC could be paid at a later date if damages are found. Therefore there is no irreparable harm to the SEC caused by temporarily allowing these players to play until a final judgement is made at a later date. Also, it is unfair to LSU to be punished while following this courts preliminary injunction, since any punishment would cause irreparable harm to the university."
