I see a lot of gloating and stuff and I hope they make it too, but there could be upsets on Saturday…. Discuss

They committee is 100% not leaving Bama out. They are locked in as the 11 seed no matter what.

The commissioner all but said 'Bama is locked in.

Bama is pulling hard for SMU on Saturday night?

What if Clemson beats SMU? What if UNLV beats Boise State? What if Arizona State loses? What if they all happen? Heather Dinnich will have a merry Christmas….

I mean the chair guy said they aren't reevaulating teams not playing this week. Only possible way Bama gets left out is if Clemson wins by like Fg over SMU

If UNLV wins, Bama is out
UNLV Rebels

The 2nd and 3rd ones will only be 1 bid leagues

The only remote chance Bama gets left out is the championship games you’re referring to outside of the ACC

Bama is not getting bumped from 11

If Clemson wins Bama is out. If Clemson loses Alabama is in. Other games are just for seeding.

If Texas loses for the second time to UGA, they should be dropped from the bracket. Bama should take their spot. If Texas wins their rematch against UGA, they are guaranteed a spot based on the rules, but they said they won't punish a team for playing a CCG. That would mean UGA gets Bama's spot.
Bama should be cheering for UGA over Texas. That's their clearest path to the playoffs.

If SMU loses to Clemson there's a good possibility that we slide out. Then you have the winner of the Big 12 title game to deal with. You people can stop pearl clutching for now.

UNLV and Arizona State have no bearing on anything.
The winner of UNLV and Boise and the winner of Arizona State and Iowa State is in.
Boise is the 10 seed so if UNLV wins then Bama likely stays at 11 and UNLV takes 12.
The winner of the Arizona State and Iowa State would get the 10 then.

No, they aren’t. UNLV and Boise will not both get in if UNLV wins.
The winner of ASU/ISU is in. Loser is out.
The winner of UNLV/Boise State is in. Loser is out.

I agree. there are still a lot of moving parts. The CFP guru said last week said that teams losing conference championship games would not be penalized for playing an extra game. Who knows though.
They also said strength of schedule would be a factor, but yet, they love ND and their weak azz schedule. Its a very subjective formula and criteria they have.
