That's how I felt too. One mistake could blow the entire game the other way. This caused perhaps the offenses to play close to the vest, but when going against the defenses on the other side, what else could you do.

That's why I agree with saban playing for ot like he did. Imagine he uses the timeouts and LSU stops us 3&out anyways. Then they would have had good field position with a chance for a kick at the end of regulation. It was a fascinating game and I don't think a lot of the national people understand what made it great.

Watched it at a bar in Athens after a Saturday of homecoming festivities. And on a bellyfull of collards and crawfish etouffe. And still got drunk and was on the edge of my seat.

If you can do that with a bellyfull of collards, it's a hell of a football game.
