Getting back to the topic at hand, as a Dawg fan I hope Kublanow's picture is not on that ticket ... unless he's giving the finger to the Vol student section or something. That would be sweet.

The fact that we won doesn't mean I shouldn't be upset about our up and coming freshman having his season ended (and he still isn't quite 100%) by a needless low block after the play had basically ended. Whether it was legal or not, it certainly wasn't good clean football. And I guarantee UT will go after Kublanow HARD when we play them this season.

I thought the hit was dirty at first, but I'm not as certain now. If Sony cuts back inside, the block doesn't look nearly as bad as it does when he goes to the outside.
It's not the cleanest block I've ever seen by any means though.

I was wondering. I've lived in Louisiana, Texas and Georgia and I've never seen one that i remember.
Griffin has a Krystal AND an A&W Rootbeer. Up North, I remember Trion, Georgia had an A&W many, many years ago.
I think the A&W is still in griffin and has been updated. Still looks nice.

There was another article by a couple of Vol writers that WG is talking about. I just wish this kind of stuff would go away. While players will try to run through another player while hitting them, I doubt they actively "go after" other players, unless it is a total cheap shot. I have to admit, that I hit a kid in the back while he was standing around a pileup on a kickoff one time. I did it on purpose and almost felt bad about it. I WOULD have felt bad about it if a referee had seen me.
