It's a weird family dynamic for sure. Weird culture. But i was reading Youtube comments from tonnns of somoans and polynesians chiming in to say that Tua's family situation is the norm in their culture. The belt is part of it.
It is what it is. Tua has a close relationship with his parents, and seems to have turned out alright
