So much denial and anger by bama fans in this thread

These idiots really believe they run a clean program. I mean come on - every coach that has ever loaded recruits and been dominate for a period of time has historically had a system in place that gives him a competitive advantage (ie...cheats). Please name me one that doesn't fit that list

Pat Dye......Oh wait, scratch that.

Did Pruity infer grade changing?

Maybe.

Will the NCAA look into it?

No.

No rules were broken. Cant get punished for possible future crimes.

Maybe, who knows. Again I am not casting stones here. This happens everywhere.

Probably, will it evolve into an actual investigation? Probably not, unless someone was an idiot and fricked up.

Absolutely, unless like stated above and something from the past is uncovered. Which is highly unlikely.

Inferring, yes. Now please show me where because they wouldn't change "grades", they recommend he transfer to another place where they would help with "grades". Your words.

I'd hope you are not this obtuse in real life. If you can't see it, albeit Probably blinded by crimson glasses, I just don't know what to say.

I would break it down for you but I'm on my iPad and it's difficult, as well as I am done for the night

Did not read thread so I dont know if this has been discussed, but wouldnt this be similar to what happened with DeMarcus Cousins at Kentucky?
The exception being that no proof of actual grades being changed in Bama's case

More like your blorange glasses seeing it how you want. Like I said earlier, I know the guy. He is as bad as people say he is. He tries to recruit the whole city of Pensacola for his gain, but he is complaining about what a Bama coach is legally doing. He better worry about his job.

The point is that Washington High School has won a total of 11 games in 5 years! The coaching staff is terrible, the school support for the team is terrible, the tradition is terrible. If you were a kid with a possible football future, would you want to play on a "crap" team with "crap" coaching and "crap" for both school and teammate support? Hell no and that's why Funderburk left for Milton a week ago. You don't get better by playing/practicing with inferior players! Wise up!

This is not a big deal. Surprised it is still being discussed. He will get help, happens a lot, but the NCAA would have to show that the help was done to aid a school in recruiting. Star athletes get help to qualify, may have happened in Memphis.

From Pensacola News Site

quote:

Darius came in the office one day during the summer after coach (Mike) Smith left and sat down and told me coach Pruitt, who is the Alabama coach who was recruiting him, wanted him to go to Foley High School,” Schellang said. “Basically, he said (Foley High) could take care of him academically.

“My reaction was shock and dismay that a Division I coach would tell a high school athlete that he needed to transfer, that they had people there to help.”

Paige was academically ineligible this past spring at Washington High. Schellang said he contacted the coaching staff on Monday to find out if his summer school grades had been posted.

Here's what was going on at Hoover High School where Pruitt and Foley's HC Watson were coaching together.
Here's how Kerry Rhodes was treated when he needed "help"
