The court’s judgment allows players to market their name and image. Boosters buying players is still against ncaa rules. Its very easy to determine who are the owners of a business.

You have to have tons of billionaires to play that game that are willing to pony up 10-25 million annually.
I'm guessing you've never looked at how much AD's get in the form of donations every year if you think this.

We’ve spent something like $750 million between upgrading Kyle Field and other football facilities in the last 5 years. Texas had to scrap plans to upgrade some of their non-football facilities because they couldn’t come up with the money.

have no illusions that LSU or Ole Miss (my schools) can keep up with Texas money but neither can Bama, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, faggies are hardly anyone else.
I don’t know about faggies, but Aggies can pay just as much or more when they want to. Nice melt.

Way to throw “faggies” in there, inbred.

That’s not total gump that’s per donor. Texas is a sleeping giant, and their alums have big money are are willing to spend. If they can keep them away from trying to coach too they are about to be big problem, Oklahoma is cheap like walmart, Texas alum like to show off how much they can spend.

When was the last time you were in Austin?

Rumors are that the private Texas foundation NIL that is now paying 50k a year per offensive lineman was just trial run. They just paid 4 Million for back up Ohio State QB, that played two snaps, and already had taken 1 million from buckeyes. That’s 1 million per star, so far. They can easily roll 100 to 200 million per year private NIL payroll. Oregon can with Nike.
Unbelievably delusional and FOS.
Nobody is gonna "roll 100 to 200 in a "NIL payroll" and nobody paid $4 million for a back up QB.
Where do you come up with this garbage?

Can’t wait to look back on the thread from a barely literate LSU poster that thought Texas was going to roll a 200 million dollar payroll for their football team

Texas is just trying to buy a title.

3 weeks ago, they finally kicked the homeless people out btw.
Do you really think 50k a year per offensive lineman is the end game?

Considering the ROI would basically be zero, I just don’t see anyone doing that long term. I might be naive though.
Exactly.I don't think Tut Hill understands billionaires or multimillionaires.None got rich by flushing their money down a toilet
just to have CFB bragging rights.
Hell, even the big dick swingers at
A&M are $300+ million in debt from their Kyle Field renovation and UT couldn't even get all those "billionares" to step up for renovations at their field.

As of 2020, the state of Texas was home to 60 billionaires. I searched where the first 15 of them went to school (see below) before I stopped. And of course there’s always a possibility that a billionaire graduate of a Texas university lives outside of Texas.
I’ve no clue how many Texas A&M former students are amongst the list of 60, but I do know that Texas A&M University (along with Boston College and University of Pennsylvania) produces the most Fortune 500 CEOs.
UTex definitely has some wealthy graduates. But so does every other SEC member institution. Regardless of how many billionaires a university has, there’s zero evidence that any one of them is sharing his/her fortune with college football players (though I’d be willing to bet that Jerry Jones will be happy to help the Razorbacks).
Color me skeptical, but I think what you heard was exactly what you said: rumors.
1. Elon Musk $190.5 B (University of Pennsylvania)
2. Alice Walton $67.9 B (Trinity University)
3. Michael Dell $50.1 B (attended University of Texas; dropped out at age 19)
4. Stanley Kroenke $10.7 B (University of Missouri)
5. Andrew Beal $9.9 B (attended Baylor University; dropped out)
6. Ann Walton Kroenke $9.3 B (Lincoln University)
7. Jerry Jones $9.1 B (University of Arkansas)
8. Richard Kinder $7.1 B (University of Missouri)
9. Robert F. Smith $6.7 B (Cornell University)
10. Ken Fisher $6.4 B (Humboldt State University)
11. Tilman Fertitta $6.3 B (University of Houston)
12. Dannine Avara $6.2 B (n/a)
13. Scott Duncan$6.2 B (n/a)
14. Milane Frantz $6.2 B (University of Houston)
15. Randa Duncan Williams $6.2 B (Rice University, University of Houston)

I know a shitload of millionaires for obvious reasons but only a handful of billionaires, and generally agree with your point. I been around them my whole life, but the money I have seen with Texas Alums is still extremely oppressive, as is their internal competition with each other.
I am fairly sure i have to be just seeing a distorted picture through my daughters friends but damn, does everyone in Texas have a G-2 or better, a place in Vale and a 5000 acre hunting ranch? I am from KingAir/Citation world bro, which i thought was great. lol
