Penalties cost us that game IIRC. It was clear who the better team was, scoreboard aside.

Texas sort of found that out last year but they think that moving to the SEC erases the embarrassment of losing to WASHINGTON
It was good for A&M fans to have some humility. That way, on the extremely off chance that they’re ever relevant in college football, they may be a little more tolerable.
I expect the same to happen to Tennessee and Ole Miss fans after they go the next 5 years minimum without a championship.
