QBs Patrick Towles and Drew Barker
With starting QBs Jalen Whitlow (transferring) and Max Smith (recovering from shoulder surgery) it'll be one of the above guys taking over. And both look quite a bit better than what we've had playing in the rotation the past couple years. Towles is the most polished but Barker will be solid going forward. Barker likely redshirts this year with Towles stepping up to start. And even if something, God forbid, happens to Towles I think Barker can step in and do well enough.

Coleman won't be an improvement over Robinson, but we won't have the drop off many are expecting. Physically, SC is impressive

This is why I thought Avery Young might flip out to left tackle, and Shon Coleman take on right tackle. It didn't happen, though.

LB Jake Holland.
We would've been better off with 10 guys on the field.
I don't understand why this guy was even on the field.

It's going to be tough to replace that first round pick, Belue

I mean, Bama is just looking loaded with talent in the secondary for years to come.
LSU wouldn't understand.

Eddie Jackson with a torn knee ligament, Marlon Humphrey and Tony Brown are true freshmen, Geno Smith can't stay out of the doghouse, Cyrus Jones is terrible, and the rest are unproven.

Nibbles bait, farts and swims away.

Explain why you think cornerback.
Belue was hurt all season, Cyrus Jones sucks, and Bradley Sylve is inconsistent.
Tony Brown has elite talent, Eddie Jackson will probably miss a good portion of the season, but has easily shown he's better than every other corner who took snaps last year. Humphrey (not sure how much he plays) is another elite talent.
Also, coaching change. And probably a mild philosophy change. Gotta let em just man up and ball more.

Had dirt on both coaching staffs.

Could be QB. ACS was a warrior with a cannon, but if McCrary beats out Robinette, we'll have a true dual-threat QB. With the speed of Brian Kimbrow and Ralph Webb (no, even I didn't really know who this guy was before spring ball), we could be dangerous. Johnny also has as much arm strength as anyone I've seen at Vandy except Cutler. From what I saw in the spring game, he needs to work on his timing and accuracy, and we will be down with all the new faces at WR. However, I think Johnny could be better than ACS just as an individual player.

Who ever said he was a 1st round pick? I sure as hell didn't
@TTs I posted a little of my thought on it, there was an easily visible marked improvement just in all the CBs technique and hand placement (was a lot easier to see in person than it was on TV) at the Aday game with Kirby back coaching the secondary mostly. Tony Brown was pretty impressive and has been all Spring enough to come in at the bottom and earn a starting boundary corner spot in the Aday game (usually especially at that position it takes some time to transition) and we have Marlon Humphrey coming in as well, not sure what to expect but he will see some PT I can almost guarantee. Another interesting guy to watch this year will be Anthony Averett who is long and athletic as well as fast, I liked what I saw out of him also at Aday.
The coaching will make a difference for Bama as well as new bodies and a year of experience for a lot of the guys who's first yr at the position was last year

True, 2014 will have two true freshmen, and Eddie Jackson is injured.
Going by potential, it gets stronger. But overall play may not. TB and Marlon will have their struggles.

Starting FS.
DE is easily an acceptable answer as well.

Bama's CB play will be improved because their pass rush will be better.
also, this guy is going to be a monster.
he might be a true freshmen, but he's already been on campus several months.

well, with your bama obsession you've probably got a picture of every freshman on campus.
