PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — As the state of Florida reported a record-breaking 10,109 new coronavirus cases Bay County also saw a spike of 173 new cases reported Thursday.

As I said...two Friday's ago we had 115 total cases since the start. Today we are at 625 cases. We have 87 ICU beds. do the math.

And those older higher at risk individuals shouldn’t have the right to choose to take the risk?

So you think a HC has a choice? Do you think coordinators have a choice? They are paid millions of dollars to be there.

It's a moot point. we aren't having a season this year. It would take one athlete dying from this and the University would be sued to the hilt. The Universities know this.

This is spiking in places that were going to be fine because of the heat and humidity. We are setting records daily and there is no end in sight at the moment.

The fact is no one is going to avoid getting exposed. So we can hide and be afraid and hope we won’t get it when you will, or we can live life without fear and enjoy what time we have.

ok. since the numbers are coming from the CDC i am satisfied that you are a liberal hack.

i know all about the misinformation that is reported by the CDC whether unknowingly or just padding the numbers.

the CDC dropped the ball early on when the WuFlu hit the streets.
they have one job to do and they failed.

BITCH...

You really don't understand the difference between a case and a hospitalization. Cases have been rising but deaths have decreased nationwide for 21 straight days. The Dutch cdc wrote this the other day.

In the technical briefing that Van Dissel gave to the House of Representatives on June 25, it follows that 98 percent of people who become infected have no or hardly any symptoms of disease. Out of a thousand people who get the virus, 3.5 people end up in intensive care. Virtually all those under the age of 70 had one or more serious underlying conditions. The majority had serious heart conditions. With these figures, RIVM can no longer maintain that COVID-19 is more dangerous than an average flu wave.

It is striking that RIVM fails to mention the percentage of infected people who die in the overviews. Also during the hearing of summary proceedings against the Dutch State last Thursday, RIVM pertinently refused to provide clarity. The infection fatality rate (IFR) can be determined on the basis of this information . This number is important to determine the actual threat a virus poses.

Jeroen Pols of Virusaanaanzin: 'At the session I asked RIVM why COVID-19 was placed on list A. This is the most dangerous category such as ebola, smallpox and polio. People who contract these types of viruses have a chance (IFR) of between 10 and 90 percent to die. With the numbers that RIVM has now released, the IFR of COVID-19 will be around 0.1. That is in the flu category, 'says Pols. At the hearing, the state even refused to give an indication of how dangerous COVID-19 actually is. Pols: "Apparently there are great interests to maintain the created myth of COVID-19 as a dangerous virus at all costs."

The WHO has even drawn up a protocol to determine if someone with COVID-19 has died. This definition is so broad that patients who die from cancer or heart attack are recorded as COVID-19 deaths. Pols: "Even with these numbers pumped up, the virus doesn't get any further than a flu wave." According to the RIVM figures, 70 people died without underlying conditions.

Pols therefore wonders how long the government and the media will continue to tell the wrong stories about this virus. "The whole country has been brought to the edge of the abyss with this fright," said Pols.

Yes that is the answer to bring football back fast

Only the old is affected worse than the flu

Many times in a season players would be hit with the flu but still we had football

Imbeciles like you are the reason this thing is breaking records daily.

More testing = more cases. And it’s showing most are asymptomatic. Are you fat? Is that why you’re scared?

Why would you expect people who are probably in the top 5 percent of all people worldwide health and fitness wise to die? Even the ones with preexisting conditions are ridiculously healthy compared to the general population. They are also in the prime of their lives age-wise.

If the virus were killing them we'd be dealing with something far more dangerous than a general pandemic. We'd have to invent a new word for it. Hmmm... 'extinction level event' is about the only thing that would qualify.
