Of course. Sid knows I'm here to rain on his parade. He will probably seek shelter and logoff.

I just don't think bama fans should ever troll LSU fans about any sport outside of Football. Even then ,LSU has a very good history that compares quite well nationally, and is in the top 10-15 of all CFB programs.

Basketball and baseball are "major" sports that bama just doesn't measure up to against LSU as it relates to winning the SEC and advancing in the NCAAt and College World Series.

Fortunately, unlike Alabama, this won't cause a significant increase in suicide and homicide rates in the state of Louisiana.

And yet, when they meet on the field/court, Alabama holds an advantage in both.

Clearly LSU baseball is dominant, and has dominated the series since college baseball became a "thing".

LSU basketball has accomplished more in the tournament, no doubt about it, and that's what matters. However, Alabama leads the overall series by 37 games. It isn't even close. So, while it would be silly to talk too much trash "historically", when the teams play each other Alabama has owned the series. Overall history, recent history, this season, whenever.

Don't be so sure. The next step for the REC is to cause a corn dog shortage. Then the coup de grace- make inbreeding illegal in Louisiana.

Who said we were going to suck at football this year? You're listening to a bunch of kids that are LSU fans and overreact to every little thing that happens that they don't agree with. We will be good in football. Baseball is too early to tell.

The school calendar year is a done deal in football.

Agree that baseball is too early to tell, but that was about all y’all had left to save face.

No LSU fan would ever even look at the head-to-head series against bama when talking about our resume in basketball and baseball. That talking point is for bottom-feeders who don't have much success at the national level.

You should have stopped there my friend.

However,
This is where you start to step in it. Why go there? Ok....let's do it. I knew I could bait you into talking about your 37 game lead over LSU (as if we give a frick).

You can have those 37 games.
Final Fours:
LSU-4
bama-0

Elite Eights:
LSU-6
bama-1 (LULZ-sorry...that's funny to me)

SEC Titles:
LSU-17
bama-14

Famous players:
LSU-
Bob Petit
Pistol Pete
Shaq

bama-
Latrell Sprewell (LULZ_I'm sorry that's even funnier)

How many of those 37 games would you trade for LSU's resume?
That's right-all of them. Thanks for playing.

Yea, LSU capitalized in the NCAAT in the 80s and Alabama didn't. It's painful as shite.

However, the point of the thread was pretty clearly currently......and a troll. And both of us are basically the same since Dale and Wimp left 30 years ago, just with LSU winning 1 more game in 2006 than Alabama did in 2004. Neither is or has been a national player in 30 years.

Last 25 years

Final Fours
LSU - 1
Alabama - 0

Elite 8s
LSU - 1
Alabama - 1

Sweet 16s
LSU - 2
Alabama - 1

NCAAT
LSU - 8
Alabama - 9

SEC Titles Combined
LSU - 3
Alabama - 1

Hopefully we'll both get back to the levels of the 80s, because those numbers are pretty sad.

At least you tried to rebut George with college stats instead of spouting off NFL accomplishments. Left off names like Namath, Starr, Thomas, Stephenson, etc in football, too,

Why did you only name basketball players? Although he was a sixth man, Horry had more rings than all of those basketball players you named combined. Shaq probably appreciates Horry’s contribution to Laker championships more than you care to admit.
