No not unless they win the SEC tournament

Vandy needs one more win to be in for sure.
Right now it’s 50/50.

Vandy’s NET is 79, no chance right now.

No. Vanderbilt needs to win one more game and hope there's teams that weren't projected as an at large don't win their tournaments.

It will be a travesty if they are left out.

Right now Lunardi is projecting Auburn comfortably in at either a 5 or 6 seed, Mississippi State as one of the last four in, and Vandy one of the first four out.

I agree. They're a legitimate dance team this year.
Aggies are in for a long afternoon IMHO. This Vanderbilt unit is on a mission

Miss St is in, and deservedly so

They should definitely be in over Arkansas and Auburn. They’ve got the head to head wins. Vandy’s hot right now, and hopefully the committee takes notice. Since February, they are 10-1 with the inexplicable loss to LSU.

They’ve beaten Tennessee, Kentucky twice, Auburn and MSU within their last 10 games. Also 9-1 with a bad loss to lsu in last 10 games.
That’s 5 wins over tourney teams. Hard to make an argument they don’t belong at this point

Auburn is a 9 , 10 seed at best

ASU got smoked. USU won
Lunardi has them as the next four out. He dropped MSU a spot to last 4 in and moved Rutgers up to last 4 byes which makes no fricking sense considering Rutgers lost also and is 19-14 with 4 quad 3 losses while we have only 1. I guess because they kept their game close with a top seed.

That loss was really mind-boggling. For the only time throughout the season the Tigers put it together and played a complete game. That appeared to herald a new dawn for LSU basketball; instead it was just a fleeting sunset.

Literally nobody is projecting this
I will say the NET seems to really punish teams for a Q4 loss. Vandy has a NET of 79, with 5-9 Q1 record, 5-1 Q2, 5-2 Q3, 5-1 Q4. On the flip side a last 4 in team NC State is 1-6 Q1, 7-4 Q2, 5-0 Q3, 10-0 Q4.
Vandy is being punished for a strong schedule and 1 Q4 loss while rewarding NC state for blowing through weak teams but can’t win against a high tournament level team. I think that’s extremely flawed. Look at those resumes and say “which team is more capable of big upsets and a deep run” and it’s clearly Vanderbilt.

The shite about the committee not considering the last two rounds or so of the tourney is absurd but seems to be true
That makes no sense considering the last rounds is when you face the good teams
Maybe because you get no rest so it’s not an accurate indicator of your team performing at its best?
