Some of you clearly don't understand how Heisman hype works. Dude had 5 TDs at half. He is the best player on the best team. He locked the trophy up yesterday.

His problem is that he will only play about a half a game a week because Clemson plays absolutely no one. Other players will have to play more and get a chance to put up big numbers.

Well unless you live in the DPRK or China you do know that you are not required to comment on this thread. If you don’t like the subject matter then move along and don’t comment. It’s just the games has been covered and pretty well by now. All I was trying to do was throw something new out.

If he could ever get a chance to return some kicks he might have an outside shot if he can take a few back.

Should be Mac Daddy Jones...but it'll be hard to overcome the Lawrence hype unless Clemson loses a game...and with that pitiful ACC schedule, that's not likely. I mean, Notre Dame is their "big" game for crying out loud...and they barely squeaked by Louisville.

To be fair though to Mac Jones, his performance against a top 10 ranked Georgia team (24-32 417 yards 4 TD 1 INT) was much more impressive to me than Lawrence who was 24-32 5 TD 1 INT against a bad GT team

Lawrence did his work in only the first half...so there’s that.

Heisman Awards are overrated...

Clemson is building a program capable of winning championships every year...not every decade like LSU.

Lawrence was anointed the Heisman before the season even started. It would take someone having a Joe Burrow 2019 season to prevent that.

My pick is Mac Jones. Nobody playing better right now and he has the biggest win so far after he lit up the best defense in the country.

Trevor Lawrence. But the season doesn't end today as the big 10 hasn't even started. Expect Justin Fields to have a say blowing up the big 10 as well.

This year of all years the Heisman vote should take place after the NCG...it won't happen I know....as the QB of the National Champ should get it, be it Jones or Fields or Lawrence. Lawrence should not get it for just being the QB of the ACC winning team. Jones has no national media exposure, it's all the Alabama hype that gets West Coast exposure. Nobody in Big 10 country knows who he is. Harris is a lot more well known, right or wrong. Unless Fields explodes, the national media has it set up for Lawrence. Just hope he does not bring his girlfriend / twin sister to N.Y. with him.
