2013 GEORGIA SCHEDULE
Aug. 31: at Clemson
Sept. 7: South Carolina
Sept. 14: Open date
Sept. 21: North Texas
Sept. 28: LSU
Oct. 5: at Tennessee
Oct. 12: Missouri
Oct. 19: at Vanderbilt
Oct. 26: Open date
Nov. 2: Florida (Jacksonville)
Nov. 9: Appalachian State
Nov. 16: at Auburn
Nov. 23: Kentucky
Nov. 30: at Georgia Tech
Will they have a hard time adjusting back to playing multiple big games after playing a much easier schedule the past two years?
This is all based on predictions of a bunch of unknown variables, just curious what the SECr thinks.

I'm interested in knowing how their team'll look. For some reason, that game worries me more than any next year

Probably not too well. We lose a lot on defense and may lose Murray as well. Offense should be solid, even without Murray, but the defense will be "rebuilding" so to speak.

They lose a ton of starters on defense, so there will be growing pains.

We won't be as good next year, but UGA will be a dangerous team because the offense should be lights out. Every starter returns except for Tavarres King, assuming Murray sticks around. Defense could be troublesome. loses 8 or 9 starters but has talent.
The first month should be tough. Probably come out of September with 2 losses. After that the rest of the schedule should go pretty smoothly until the UF game.
If we get out of September with 1 or 0 losses, we can make a run.

I am giving them a win in the Clemson game, but on second thought could see their young defense struggle.

I would guess 9-3, but we'll see

They could easily start the season by going 1-3 if they are not careful. But Georgia's cupboard is not bare and they'll replace what they lose with good players - make no mistake about that.
I'll be pulling for them against Clemson. After that, no.

It could be a sneaky good year if they squeak through that early schedule. Clemson SHOULD be a win but early with a young defense could be trouble.
SC will be a battle no matter how we slice it but it's at home so I'm giving us a 60/40 shot at it. (Can we figure out a way to stop Clowney?)
LSU is big question mark... what happened in the games leading up to it. Are we gaining confidence and gelling defensively? Also what do they lose this off season? (I really have no idea.) Probably a loss.
I see us coming out 3-1 but can just as easily see 1-3 or 2-2 to start the season. We go 3-1... look out cuz that train is not stopping. 1-3... well go ahead and count the UF game as a loss as well. They'll be deflated all season and lose another one to someone they shouldn't.
Need to play well in the bowl game, finish up this recruiting cycle strong (bringing in a LOT)...
