So how does the league stop the injury flopping?

It’s not a new phenomenon but it’s pretty bad this year, especially since it seems to be an integral part of the Ole Miss strategy, but they aren’t the only team that does it.
The problem is it works, the fake injury late in the LSU game worked to perfection, gave the refs time to review and make what was the correct call, our RB knee was down.
So how do you stop something that works and isn’t against the rules? Refs shouldn’t be judging if a player is really injured IMO that’s not their job. Fine the school? Suspend the player if you can prove they faked it? Make injured players sit out the rest of the series? Other better ideas?

Make anyone who causes the whistle to be blown with an "injury" sit out the rest of the possession is the best way to go.

If you have to be attended to on the field more than 2-3 times you’re disqualified from the game for your own safety.

Even hockey has a penalty for embellishment, and they allow their players to get in fist fights. A solution exists, but I think we can all agree to start by relegating Kiffin to the CFL.

Make it a reviewable play.
No ref is going to call it live for obvious reasons but even the broadcast was noting how the sideline signaled the guy who jogged to the new LOS and then all of the sudden fell down. In the sequence of the game that was a critical play as the next ball was an incompletion and then punt. The guy would have only sat out one singular play regardless.
They were reviewing the play anyways. They should have looked at that and assessed a Personal foul for 15 yards.

Suspend head coaches.
It will stop.
It will stop.

Have the coach decide if they want to use a timeout or have player sit. If player does it with no timeouts it is an unsportsmanlike or player sits remainder of game. Let the offending head coach figure it out.

Make them wear the bubble helmets

Twofold approach at first and will have to be tweaked going forward depending on how much of an issue it remains.
(1) Fines and/or other penalties per injury deemed to be fake on review during the week. Needs to be steep enough to hurt, and increasing per instance.
(2) Penalty during play for the most egregious cases. Talking Auburn sniper taking out 2-3 lineman at the same time type bullshite. 15 yards, counts as unsportsmanlike (so 2 and ejected for the same player), reviewed like targeting since the main worry will be "legitimate" injuries being tagged.
Unfortunately, 2 will have issues with having the camera angles needed to enforce appropriately. But it's a start.

Put an SEC paid doctor on each bench and let them do an evaluation whenever a player has to leave the field. If they think it's fake, sit them for the rest of the half.

You wouldn't even need to do that. If you have an impartial medical person to review their condition, then you can just slow play it so that that player is always going to miss several plays as they do a comprehensive evaluation.
Went down for injury and the game is delayed. Then either off to the medical tent, the locker room, or just to the SEC doctor to get cleared. That will take about 3 plays for that to happen...

I like this idea more than all the others floated out there lately in these threads.
It leaves the HC responsible and doesn't leave it up to the refs to decide who is or isn't *actually* hurt, which is a no-go from the start.
If a player is legitimately hurt or cramping, it should be no problem to sit them for the rest of the possession anyway. If he's faking for a tactical advantage, then you either lose that player for the series or burn a timeout. Seems like an even tradeoff

Start an injury tracker tied directly to the strength and conditioning staff to rank the best and worst staffs in the league. Post results weekly. Discuss it often on television and social media. Humiliate the coaching staffs over it.

It can't be stopped because then you're questioning the health of a player and most of the players are black. It's the reality of the game, but I really don't have a problem with it. College football has become so corrupt, trying to decide if a player is really hurt or not, is the least of college football's problems!

You already have to sit a play if you cause a stoppage of play. Just make it longer. The rest of the quarter. If there's less that 5 mins left in the quarter, it rolls over to up to 5 mins in the next quarter or to the next game if there's less than 5 minutes left in the game. Say it's for "player safety."

Allow the defense to sub. Simple enough. Eliminates the need for injury fakes.

Review it and fine the players after the game like the NFL does. They make money now. Fine their arse.

I hope this happens just so I can laugh at you all when one of your star players gets a nut shot or shaken up a little bit and you lose him for the entire drive in an important game.
All because you wanted to punish people and were too ignorant to come up with a solution that didn't punish innocent people.
Gonna be like Texas fans and their "If Colt hadn't got hurt" excuses.

School will just pay it. Especially for a big game.
