He lost week 3 on the road to the best player in the country with a brand new team and you’re jumping to that conclusion. That’s a bit of a reach.
You paid $50 millions dollars and got beat. Florida dodged a bullet.

Kirby Smart Georgia$13.1M–$13.3
Curt Cignetti Indiana$13.0M–$13.2
Lane Kiffin LSU $13.0M
Ryan Day Ohio State $12.5M–$12.6M
One of these is not like the others

Two things can be true, Kiffin very good and Sumrall being a solid hire so far.
LSU lost on the road to a top 5 team.
Golesh seems okay, Stein seems better.
Silverfield is terrible.
At the end of the day, the pecking order I think is still this:
1) Kiffin
2) Sumrall
3) Stein
4) Golesh
5) Silverfield
Silverfield isn't going to last 2 seasons in Arkansas. Heck he could be canned after this year.
Golesh, I never understood the hype regarding him. Yes he knows offense but he's never won a conference title or made the CFP at any stop as a Head Coach.
And when Sumrall and Tulane went up against Golesh and USF, Tulane dominated USF. Always felt like Golesh was the most overrated this cycle, though Silverfield is the overall worst.

Me too. I think he's a great coach. He's doing as well as i predicted for the 1st year so far.

Lane Kiffin is just a younger, bedazzled Brian Kelly in many ways. BK also thought the status of coaching at LSU would make his job easier to the point he didn’t have to work or know his own players.
