It’s an interesting opening and would be a solid fit for a great recruiter looking for a P5 entry point.

UGA RB coach Dell McGee would be an interesting fit here

Ga State Head man Shawn Elliott is another guy that would be an interesting personality in this gig. He has head coach experience in the SEC filling in when spurrier bailed on them.

Willy Korm Coastal Carolina OC is another guy that might get a look from the North Atlanta Trade School

Shawn Elliot to Tech. McGee to Ga st. Tech ain’t hiring a RB coach as HC.

Ga Tech has won a national title in my lifetime. 8&4feit hasn't won a title in my parent's lifetime.

It’s in a great recruiting area in a mediocre ACC. It might be where careers die but it could be a decent entry level gig.

He's also currently 0-4.

2 P5 teams and a decent Coastal Carolina would have that effect.

Tech has had some damn good, long tenured coaches over the years. You didn't know this though.

Prime Time fixn to get a lot of recruits in ATL. If he can get kids in Jackson he will absolutely kill it in recruiting in downtown ATL.
Don’t know if he can coach.

His buyout was $11 million. Tech may have to mortgage the campus.

If he leaves it won’t be for a school like GSU.

They’re usually pretty solid. State lost to them in 2014 orange bowl

Dont know what they expected, their main rivals are all at the top of the game.

It is a massive rebuild moving away from undersized option players and selling anyone they can get to the nfl from tech.

I'm sure they will low ball the next person. They are losing money hand over foot.

John Heisman and Bobby Dodd are the 2 really big names, but Peoper Rodgers was also pretty good, he launched Steve Spurrier’ career…

4 MNC's in 4 different eras with 4 different coaches tells me you are misinformed.

They were last good when Tennessee was go so I grant you they have been down for a bit, but with the right administration, boosters, and AD they could contend.
