That Bowen move looks even worse today than it did when he signed him.

Tennessee has never been to a Final Four. Vacated or not.

I can understand your salt.

this is a weird response thread for the fact that Carolina football has a better SEC record than Tennessee this Millennium.

77-67 Carolina
69-75 Tennessee

as for Frank Martin - he didn't commit any violations - one of the players is implicated as being involved with an outside agent.

Martin isn't cheating.

Even if it does, who cares?

I saw it happen. An asterisk next to it isn't going to change anything for me.

There will be no asterisk. It won't exist anymore. Banners, record books, media guides.

Just another stain on that dumpster fire you call a University.

So far we have Auburn, Missouri, and Tennessee fans making fun of us for this

What do all 3 of these teams and their fans have in common?

I wonder what it could be.

I'm not making fun of you. I just made a factual statement related to the op.

And, I don't know the answer to your question.

Does it?

Bowen was given an opportunity to practice with a team while this whole thing got sorted out.

He is a damn good player for our guys to practice with, and if by some miracle he is cleared, we get him for a year. If not, oh well. It's not like he dressed and competed for us.

It was a win-win move IMO.

I think so, because documents from an agent tie him and another USC player to payments from an agent. Payments separate from a shoe company to the same player to steer him to Louisville.

It doesn't directly implicate Martin in anything and I doubt it ever does, but having Bowen and Dozier named in this last report makes the Bowen signing look worse today than it did, imo.
