No rebuttal to any post, just a jump directly to "Sit down and shut the frick up".

Sure.

A player is one who plays. Should be simple enough.

Bigger risk of a player dying after getting hit on his mopad riding across campus than dying of covid. Stop spreading the fear, these athletes are very, very, very low risk.

I go to the Covid floor at a prominent hospital on a regular basis, and I've yet to see a young person there. It's usually elderly/obese types, and even then it's not a given they will die.

Personally, I profile in my usual day to day activities. I avoid the young/in shape types b/c they're likely to be asymptomatic if anything.

Will some die in alcohol, drug, or violence incidents that could have been avoided in a controlled athletic environment?

Had it. Light sniffles for me. Granted I'm only 35 but I smoke cigarettes and drink daily. Brother had it asymptomatic. This pandemic really is a fkin joke.

But it is. Most people don't die from asthma, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure without a catalyst. And since a majority this country, especially those in the SEC footprint are generally big fat unhealthy fricks, it puts a lot of people in that high risk category.

They're more likely to be hospitalized from bacteria induced respiratory distress from having to wear a mask.
