I was up in Miller Creek, NC last night during the game. Tobacco Road country. Only bar open was Applebees and I was there with the President and CEO of my company .... we were the only two non-ACC fans in the place to begin.
Shortly after halftime we were the only two fans still watching until these UGA and Nebraska fans walked in.
So we were left talking about why the SEC dominates like it does (President of my company is a Michigan grad) and the four of us agreed it's because it really does just mean more in this conference. This conference has more conference pride than any other.
There is one of those "just means more" commercials where they talk about us fighting internally but when it comes to the big games we all pull for the conference.
No other conference in America does it .... but it's starting to catch on in the B1G.
The SEC bowl record this millennium is pretty darn impressive.

What is it with Tom Herman underperforming in the regular season and then punching over his head during bowls? Utah last year, Georgia the year before that. He knocked off 10–2 Florida State in a major bowl when he was at Houston. That must really frustrate Horns fans.

Perhaps the annual Mensa convention held in December gives him lots of energy
Did you know he's in Mensa? He doesn't like talking about it though.

I had no idea Auburn lost their bowl game to Minnesota. How the frick did that happen?

Auburn schedule in 2019:
#1 LSU (SEC and National Champs)
#4 UGA (Sugar Bowl Champs)
#5 Oregon (Pac-12 and Rose Bowl Champs)
#6 Florida (Orange Bowl Champs)
#8 Alabama
#10 Minnesota
We tried baws, but they (all teams above us) were just simply better considering that Bo Nix was a freshman and Malzahn schemed 80% of his plays on his shoulders.
We will strive to do better next year.
Let's try again in 2020 my SEC baws!
The SEC is definitely the best Conference however.

PJ Fleck may be a weird dude, but he totally outcoached Gus Malzahn and Kevin Steele.
