I guess LSU NEVER does anything that would benefit them in situations like this.

Don't you know that LSU is the model program, that every other NCAA program just wishes it could be like????

Since you have teenage sons, you know exactly what happened with Paige?
You know what his academic issues are.
You know how many classes he could make up at Foley as opposed to Washington.
You know who initiated the conversation about a possible transfer.
Let me ask you, should Paige stay at Washington and then go to Juco instead of transferring to Foley where he could make up more classes and qualify to play ball at a 4 year school? Is that what you're saying? Or do you agree with the transfer and just object to the fact that it was a college coach that recommended that plan?

The kid was a major pawn in a power play and you know it. All the adults around this kid have failed him.
I'm sure Paige is real pissed he potentially gets to go to a 4 year institution as opposed to JUCO.

I never said that. I live in Louisiana and didn't I say I see adults here use kids with athletic talent all the time? What's wrong is wrong regardless of it happening here or there, with LSU or Bama.

If you can't see all the problems associated with a college football assistant "guiding" a high school athlete to a school then I simply don't know what to say. The kid is a pawn and is being used by a bunch of adults that aren't his parents. This whole ordeal from the High School AD and Bama football coach stinks.
Of course big time football programs "use" these kids for their gain. The coaches, the ad, etc have their jobs on the line if they don't succeed. What people like yourself don't seem to care about is the fact that a large majority of these kids that play big time college football would never have the opportunity to go to college without football. The coaches or the school would not care about these kids if they weren't going to help them win games, but what exactly is wrong with helping the kids that have the talent to help the program meet their objective of playing winning football. If the kid stayed where he was he more than likely would not be eligible to play college football at the level he has the talent to play next year. By transferring a mere 30 miles from his current location he has a chance to meet his goals and actually go to college as a student athlete next Fall. How is this a bad thing? The Bama coaches could say tough crap and let him not meet his goals at his current school or they can show interest in him and actually suggest opportunities for him to improve his chances of meeting his goal. I know most of you assume that means move the kid and give him unearned grades to assure eligibility, but that is pure speculation. In the end the kid has a better chance to get full ride to play SEC football and earn a college degree and somehow this is scandalous and corrupt. I say we watch him fail in Pensacola because that is the path the kid was on. At least that would make the rest of the SEC happy.
