Yes I’m an LSU fan but let’s stop this. I feel for the kid but the family is casting blame for a situation that’s nobody’s fault. Go read about what kind of brain cancer he had. He’s lucky to even be alive

My thing is the LSU fans here who blame LSU for what happened. Blame the football program, but are still fans? It’s baffling. At least be consistent.

I think the downvotes say otherwise Chief

that said, if diagnosed in a more timely manner, there is no way he ever laces a pair of cleats again…

No, they don’t. The hive mind of most fanbases here is something that science can not yet explain. LSU’s group think is probably the strongest because there are more LSU fans here than any other school.
You guys have been voraciously defending Kyren Lacy; even after he stole a car, led police on a chase, and killed himself. You have been downvoting away anyone who even suggests that might not be considered acceptable in society.
Brian Kelly could sacrifice a child at his next press conference and many if not most LSU fans here would circle the wagons and defend what he did.
Also, outside of true Appalachia, much of the LSU fan base is more culturally different than any other fanbase in the SEC. South Louisiana is a different world and many people there just think differently than most do here.
So no, downvotes or upvotes on any thread involving LSU mean nothing more than there are a shite ton of LSU fans here. With all the alters, there are even more LSU accounts than LSU fans. A lot of times one person will downvote a post multiple times with his different accounts. So no, they mean nothing.

Sometimes, this is true.
Sometimes, everyone downvotes you just because you're a dumbass.

You are presenting one side of the story . I would imagine he saw a team doctor before being referred to a neurologist . We will see how it plays out . Nothing was mentioned by the Brooks family about what info was in the surgical informed consent . ??

The type of tumor he had was diagnosed earlier than normal for that particular condition.
He knows this, because he's been told this repeatedly.
He just reposts the same shite over and over again.

The brooks family is looking for a payout and trying to put a negative light on LSU to get it. The dad has lied or significantly skewed the truth to make lsu look complacent, which simply isn’t true. There’s been an obvious media slant covering this whole thing as well.
He knows all of this too, he's just a fricking idiot.

But have another downvote anyway.

Lots of questionable statements here . The team doesnt refer to neurology . The team MD usually refers to a specialist , neurosurgeon .
the neurosurgeon was credentialled for the procedure that he performed by the hospital. Credentialling is approved at board meetings attended by the chairman of surgery , head of neurosurgery , medical executive committee after reviewing the surgeons CV . AND , they call and check the institutions that are on that CV … to make sure it isnt fiction .
We are all very sorry Brooks did not have the result he was looking for . I suspect he was given a thorough informed surgical consent , also .

Did it ever occur to you that the symptoms were intermittent and the kid wanted to play ?? The kid said as much on video . Dont blame anybody , a brain tumor is a bad deal . Stop blaming .

quote:THIS is the crux of the issue. Brooks insinuated that BK didn't stay in contact with him and was thus negligent. BK says he did stay informed and stayed in contact with Brooks about it. That has to be resolved in court.
if you produce something that says that Kelly circumvented the medical staff and did something contrary to their advice, and this delayed treatment that can be proven to lead to a bad outcome
As for the culpability of the staff, if Brooks at any point suspected that something was wrong and had ANY doubts even for 1 second about how the staff was handling it, he could have sought a 2nd opinion on his own. It saddens me to say that's on Brooks, as much as I like him as a player and think he and his family are probably good people. They made a mistake and it seems like they are trying to pin it on someone else.
As for the scissor lift ND incident, no one forced that kid to get on that thing. At worst, he would have lost his job if he refused. He got up there on his own. As for what BK told him, I have no idea. I wasn't there.
But keep throwing that out there like BK killed a kid at ND.
