How the hell is a coach of any team responsible for a player being misdiagnosed? Unless you are saying he hid the report and had medical staff lie to the kid this is not remotely his fault.

It's sad what happened, but it happens (fortunately, rarely)
Players bashing their heads all day in 95 degree heat often have these symptoms.
I'm sure he could have gone to the university health center on his own or a doctor on his parent's insurance for a second opinion.
Truth is, he probably wanted to keep playing and thought it was nothing serious.
I have hope that at some point, some here will begin to understand that film crews and medical staffs are affiliated with the athletic department itself and only support the football program.
They don't work for the football program and they don't report to the football coach.

These lawsuits are part of the reason why the rest of our health care is so expensive and sux so bad.
Anyone seeking treatment these days need to have a second opinion for anything they think may be serious.
Brook's father played in the NFL. It's not like he couldn't have pulled his son and got him another check if it was so obvious LSU was being negligent?
