I have yet to meet one Ole Miss fan that thought he would be here for 6 seasons. He brings a lot to the table. But there are negatives. Like a lack of toughness on either side of the ball. He relies heavily on finesse. Also his success is a little bit of an illusion.

He has had millions to work with in NIL as well as an unreal favorable schedule the last three years. Look at this year…we haven’t played any of the Tennessee, Alabama or Texas schools. Same goes for playing Missouri. Not sure we would have 10 wins with any of those teams as opponents. We got Arkansas, Florida, LSU who’ve all fired their coaches. Then USC and Kentucky that want to fire their coaches. He will have offense. But don’t be shocked when his defense gives up 30+ per game.

That all changes after this season.

Frick it, that's a dealbreaker. Send them all to Florida.

We are not firing Kiffin and paying $36 million

Thank you. That will buy a lot of players.

This is the stone cold truth.

I’m sorry Rebels, but that dude is gone.

(I also think he is not a great fit for LSU, but a better fit for Florida, but hey, money is money).

Also, does anyone remember him falling on his fricking face when he was HC at USC? Pepperidge farms remembers. There is a damn good chance Kiffin just can’t be in charge of a big time program.

think that js why Lane sent his family to Gainesville and Baton Rouge. If they return and say they can’t live there then he doesn’t have to decide.

If you can disparage your competition and screw them in any way you hurt their brand, 4D chess.

But that can apply to us as well haha.

The goal line crap this past weekend was ridiculous coaching. And Kiffin goes to the press conference and blames the players. That was one part that pissed me off. Good old Charlie screwed us with ridiculous play calling for years. But don’t forget Kiffin ran off Lebby and Durkin in 2022. Sigh.

At the end of the day Kiffin will be his own worst enemy. He always has been. But he is the shite with an offense. And players want to play for him. He will win games wherever he goes….or stays.

I disagree. He can see his keeds finish out their formative years and your job will open again so will Florida’s.

I thought about that fact with USC. And I bet Kiffin himself wonders about that. But he doesn’t think like everyone else. Logic to most isn’t to him. Different dude.

At Ole Miss we will be fine. We are competitive with coach pay and NIL. The world has changed. Hard for some to see. Look at who has been in the top ten this year. If you are in your 40s or 50s did you ever think you’d see Vandy in the top ten? Money changes the equation. Just be happy the CEO of Apple doesn’t care about his Alma Mater or football. That guy could buy an entire program. Auburn would be rolling in trophies.

Well well well. It is evil or grace, one of the two. Is it chemistry/art, something that comes out of the ether, or is it engineering?

People frick up engineering. Will the people fit where he goes? Who knows.

He is retweeting a bunch of Egg Bowl stuff so if that’s the case, then that’s a good sign for Ole Miss

Or he’s leaving. He was told he can’t coach the egg bowl. And now he’s trying to mind frick Keith Carter.

Keeping up will be what gets it back to what it use to be.

Example, Arkansas now hs their money... My understanding 40 million.

That's going to make TX and TAMU and Bama.. and UGA...spend even more. So the amounts keep getting pushed up and at some point, some schools will not be able to keep up.

Ole Miss is one of those schools.

It's the same as it's always been.

The money programs spend the most and get the most talent and ultimately, wins.

The non power teams have some good seasons here and there.

Agreed. If Ole Miss has the money then pieces will fall into place eventually.

You can tell me whether they can pay salary and NIL in the amounts like some of their other big SEC schools can. I frankly, have no idea.
