Definitely the strongest record but not sos.
In the regular season LSU played 2 teams that finished in the top 5 and 3 in the top 10. Bama played 0 in the top 10 in the regular season.

Why the obsession with LSU?
At the end of the regular season, LSU had played 5 of the top 25, while Bama had played just 4. Even so, as a percentage of games played, LSU has a higher percentage against top 25 than Bama does.
