The way some of our fans are handling this SEC title is embarrassing. Win with a little class. Auburn has a hell of a team, we won because we played lights out football on Saturday. Play them 10 times and we probably go 5-5.

Seriously? You won those games AT HOME. All of the tough games you played on the road, you lost. Your schedule was no tougher than any other, particularly Alabama's. When Bama played FSU they were ranked #2 with a functioning QB. History is all but forgotten by the Barners who want to wallow in the Pit of Misery....Dilly Dilly.

Nah, 2004 was the most Auburn moment ever. Auburn lost to LSU, hence they made their bed this year.
Buy don't fret, you guys still have an opportunity to UGA the playoffs up, get so close to a NC, then fall short. So I would tread lightly, UGA doesn't have the best of history in times like these.

You forgot to mention the refs, for whatever reason, really needing auburn in the playoffs but just couldn’t help y’all past the 3rd quarter when the UGA momentum finally took over. They went to plan B and called some dumb late hit penalty so that it wasn’t 99:1 pro auburn calls.

Except it has huge relevance. If auburn beats us but loses like they did this weekend, they would be in and Bama would be out. The LSU loss has just as much weight in terms of keeping hem out as the Georgia game.
Auburn with only 1 loss to Georgia in the SECCG and a win over Bama would have Georgia / Auburn in the dance.

This would happen to Mizzou. 2007, we lose to OU twice, once in the Big 12 CG. Beat Illinois, they go to the Rose Bowl. We beat Kansas, they go to Orange Bowl. We sounded destroyed Arkansas in the bowl who beat LSU, eventual National Champs.

I guess you're right about this...but I was talking along the lines of they were still in the SECCG and had they won, would have been in the playoffs, even with the loss to LSU. But I see what you're talking about, but not sure they would have still taken both SECCG participants regardless of the score in your scenario?

Well, Aubbie did lose to 7SU who lost to Troy and State. Plus Auburn had the chance to keep moving on in the playoffs, but they lost to Georgia
