True freshman QBs do true freshman things.

I expect A&M to chew up our O-line.
4 or 5 sacks.

I expect Zollers to have a couple of turnovers.

That’s reality, not negativity.

The only way it stays close is if the Mizzou defense has some scoring takeaways.

Oh hell, who cares about this?. I'm just getting pumped for 9-2 A&M coming to Austin to play 9-2 Texas!

The story of this game will be the Missouri offensive line. Plain and simple. If Howell and the others are able to tee off on the 3rd string QB, creating those long third downs, that A&M excels at stopping, Missouri simply cannot turn over the ball to the A&M offense 7 or 8 times per half and win.

This game is all about Mizzou defense. I've only seen one Mizzou game and their defense looked physical, but I have no idea how consistently good (or bad) they are.

The one thing they have consistently done is taken away the legs of dual threat quarterbacks.

Jaylon Daniels: 10 for 25 yards
LaNorris Sellers: 10 for -28 yards
Jackson Arnold: 17 for 14 yards
Diego Pavia: 8 for 20 yards

Minus a couple of big plays, the front seven has generally played the traditional running game well. MLB Josiah Trotter is a heat seeking missle tackling machine. Where Mizzou has been vulnerable is in the secondary, and even there they've been improving.

Where we've been struggling mightily is at quarterback and offensive play calling. Pribula wasn't ready for prime time, his eyes dropping when bolting with no real plan of escape, and OC Kirby Moore not mixing up the running game and generally abandoning it as the games wear on. Teams could stack the box and bring the house.

If the kid can nail a few hot reads and make A&M play things honest Mizzou has a shot to win.

Mizzou D has given up 55 less points than A&M.

A&M O has scored 19 more point than Mizzou.

Hardy and Roberts need to run the ball effectively. Our D is better, especially at COMO, with the home fans and the refs.

Don't even try to sell that one. You may not want him to run but you do need. You have no hope if Reed can't break loose as/when necessary. Bookmark.

After you lose at UGA, you'll only be 8-3, at time of A&M game!

Do you think the Mizzou defense can’t stop your offense? Do you think you can simply flip a switch for instant offense? Interesting.

Keep in mind the defenses Mizzou has played against vs. the defenses Aggie has played against.

Don't feel great about the true frosh starting against the #3 ranked team in the country, regardless it being A&M.

Its pretty similar, tbh. Mizzou has had a tougher SEC schedule, but they had ND on the road, in non con.

By 3 to #4 Bama, and 7 at now #16 Vandy, who was 10, when the game was played. Mizzou wins at Vandy, if Pribula doesn't get knocked out.

Reed has to play within the offense and let his receivers run with the ball after the catch. If Mizzou lets Craver and Conception run free in that zone, they are going to be in trouble. I am not sure Mizzou has the LBs and DBs to control the A&M receivers.

And Drink is a dufus.
