Weird the way Saban was far, far less successful at LSU than at Alabama. From 2000-2004, only 1 really good season (2003). I wonder why?

Ray Goff was good at recruiting players who would become head coaches: Bobo, Champ and Smart

I mean we suck right now and everyone knows it.

I dont think you know what the meaning of the word "home" is.

Enjoy your team of the century. Should be a glorious 2nd or 3rd place in the west finish for you.

The same reason he was less successful at Michigan State than LSU. The process was still developing.

His GA staff at Michigan State was pretty ridiculous.

Brian Dabol (current Alabama OC)
Mel Tucker (Current Georgia DC)
Josh McDaniels (current New England OC)
Adam Gase (current Dolphins HC)

His book gives great insight as to why his assistants go on to be successful. He expects so much out of them

I will never understand why teams will spend $100,000,000+ on facility upgrades every several years, but will not pay enough to procure a top 10 football coach? Saban is EASILY worth $15,000,000 a year to Bama. Look at their enrollment and giving since he took over. Why schools ever go cheap on a hire is mind blowing.

Mizzou is about to break ground this year on a $100,000,000 Endzone project and went the cheapest route possible for a never before head college coach. Just pay 5% of what you are about to spend on an endzone improvement and buy a top 20 coach!!!!

that fricker only went to Miami as a stepping stone to bama. First time ever a grown man clamored to get to Tuscaloosa.

Saban was not Saban yet at LSU.

When he went to Alabama he was an established name.

Saban did not get along with Bertman but he loved Emmert.

As soon as Emmert left Saban was on his way out no matter what.

Emmert was instrumental in getting LSU to a top tier level.

Alleva has since took a watery shite on everything and here we are.
