....exactly, and if he had transferred prior to spring practice, i doubt Alabama would have covered his tuition for the summer session, thus preventing him from graduating Saturday. how bout think before showing your arse

I just hope recruits for '17 and beyond are paying attention.

This I agree with - they could have handled it in a professional manner. I'm just so glad that Smith found his personal items and the photo's, personal goals and other irreplaceable items weren't destroyed forever.
Now, don't get me wrong here. I have zero issue with Saban not granting him a full release considering how close to the season the request was made. Smith is coming across as a whiny bitch in that regard.
That doesn't mean I have to be alright with Alabama throwing his personal belongings away though.

2nd- My interest in this whole affair from it's inception has been the rules pertaining to athletes transferring from different schools (not what school, or what athlete). The only reason I came over to this thread was because most of the posters left the other thread to come here. I assure you that my panties aren't in a wad...in fact, I'm not wearing any!
See my last post then.

...and having to go through the normal transferring process which generally requires sitting out a year.

I think that the biggest thing here is that we have only one side of the story from the party that is obviously disgruntled because he didn't get what he wanted, and people are running with it like it's the gospel. Par for the course around these parts.
Didn't he want a free ride college education?
Didn't he want a full scholarship to an elite football program?
Didn't he want to get training, and development from one of the best defensive coaches in the country?
Didn't he want to play on a team that consistently compete for championships?
Didn't he want the experience of WINNING Championships?
Damn Mo, we don't get everything we want in life.

I do hope all the trashing personal stuff is some sort of miscommunication or something. That's pretty shitty, regardless of circumstances. Put them in an old Nike shoebox and leave with the secretary for pick up.

It's high times for LSU fans isn't it? I guess y'all have to get your punches in while you can. Lord knows y'all can't man up and punch worth a shite when November rolls around

No offense meant, your posts are scattered on every page of every thread that happens to mention Alabama. I know Alabama lives in many rival fan's heads after the last 10 or so years, but wow. Do you have a job or go to school? Just curious.

They are, Bama got 3 commits in the last couple of days. Help me with where Bama sits in the recruiting rankings for next year.

Alabama can't seem to keep themselves out the negative news and I love everything fricking minute of it. Those wheels are coming off. Saban is losing control. Arrest, can't keep his OC from keeping his big mouth shut(we all knew it was a matter of time) and bad press
If you can't beat them, hope they implode! Amirite?

I'm sure they are. The know they can win a championship at Alabama and also know Bama puts more guys in the league than anyone now. That type of intense environment isn't for everyone, but some guys thrive on it and will continue to come and test themselves at Alabama for those reasons.

Well, since this is the only Alabama related thread I've commented in on the entire first page, I'd imagine my job pays much, much better than yours since you clearly cannot read.

I've, literally, posted in only one out of the seven Alabama threads on the first page.

I've seen your posts in many threads over the last week or two, that's a fact. I can dig them up for you if you'd like to be embarrassed.

No stone is left un-turned, no secrets to Saban's Process. They know full well what can happen if they choose to play for UA.
And they keep lining up like soldiers ready to sign on the dotted line when February rolls around.

Saban's crybaby antics spreading through the AD. Bama fans will be shooting at his family and killing their grass before the week is up.
One of these days Saban's going to screw with the wrong recruit and they are let all his secrets out.

Agreed. Hard to justify a 3 year degree while being a full time college football player.
