You DO realize that for taking a bad opponent in 2012, we added Boise for next year. Right?

We had 2 louisvilles and replaced them with a much better team and a worse team, it evens out in the long run. Don't see how you can make fun of this. And ftr, I wish we had just kept the louisville series.

you also dropped Oregon though...

Georgia has made it pretty clear that after losing to Okie State and Colorado, they're going back to their old scheduling with not road games

Greg McGarity is making it clear that he is using UFs strategy of scheduling.

They lose 2 WRs, 1 TE, 2 OL, 1 RB, and not to mention nearly their entire secondary on defense.

We lose AJ Green and Kris Durham.
We lose 2 or 3 Senior OLIne
We get to keep our RBs - oh goody!
Ya, we lose about 3 of our best defensive players too. Hell - we might even lose Boykin.

Done?

That was mutual, fwiw. After they travelled to UTK, they didn't want to make the same kind of cross-country trip...and we didn't want to get our asses beat by a Pac-10 team. Everybody wins.

Care to compare the depth at Georgia to that at Boise? The argument against Boise in the first place is that they don't have the depth on their team to hold up in a slugfest every week of the season.

So do you want me to say Georgia is a talented team? It's true. Georgia recruits well. We have depth.

What I'm trying to say is that Boise is a well coached team. They will be ready since they have the entire off season to play us.

I think it's retarded to think this will be a easy UGA win.

Boise has the chance to beat any team on any given saturday. But due to their depth, they just cant handle any SEC team's schedule (Playing LSU, AU, UA, UGA, UF, UT, etc...) week in and week out.

I can't believe I'm defending boise state.
I hate them and their smurf turf.

It was initiated by Georgia and Georgia was the one worried about cross-country trips. Oregon was quite okay with the outcome in Knoxville. You're right, it was a mutual decision though. What a shame for both fanbases.
