Does this count as another championship for Brian Kelly?
BK took over an Orgeron decimated Roster of 34 players, a totally unorganized program and won the West plus 10 games in 22, then won 10 games with a historically dysfunctional LSU Defense in 23, in addition to a Heisman Trophy.
It will take a few years to clean up the big stinking pile of Shrimp and Crawfish heads that Orgeon left behind.
A NC in inevitable soon.

There are only three active coaches that have won a title: Kirby, Dabo, and Mack Brown.
Kirby is, and should be #1on this list.
Dabo seems like he has severely underperformed for a few years, losing many games he was favored in despite having a very mature program. Brown is well past his prime, riding it out in NC.
Unless we are going to say that these 3 are 1, 2, and 3 on this list (and no one is arguing that), then championships cannot be the end-all gotcha argument.
Kelly and Napier are not the same.

If that had been the last drive of the game, you MIGHT have a better argument. But it wasn't. It was near the end of the first HALF. Ga had a whole 2nd half to do something. But they couldn't.
Ga wasn't the best team last season. Neither was Alabama. It's OK to admit. Maybe it would be easier if y'all asshats hadn't spent the entire off-season proclaiming a 3 peat before kick off. Spent last off-season yelling 3 peat, spending this off-season whining about one play killing your chances.
Hint: if yer that good, you can overcome 1 play. It's never just one thing.

How about the fact, especially after JW went out, Kirby could kill the running back with 5 on the line, and send blitzes whenever he chose because the O line was so inconsistent. I can go on, but it boils down to ga being a better team that day.

Our 3 freshmen receivers were definitely better than the 4 and 5 stars that Bama had recruited at the position. Better than the 4 and 5 star Bama DBs even.

We blitz on 3rd and long like every team does.
We don't have to blitz on first and 2nd down (zone blitzes really aren't blitzes when we are dropping back 6 and 7 defenders).
