Skyline chili is horrendous! I’d almost take a can of Hormel.

I was in Cincinnati with the family and we went to Skyline to try it out.
The idea of putting chili on pasta was interesting but not great. I’m glad I tired it but I’m not eating there again.
The people were very nice.

It's nasty as hell, I remember wanting to try it because Dan Patrick talked about it. I instantly regretted it.

This. Ohio and Michigan are simply devoid of any decent local fare. At best it is stuff that is knockoffs of better food but still nothing close to the original. Detroit style pizza is another example. It's not terrible but no sane person would rather have that than NY Pizza or Chicago Deep Dish.
I remember going to Detroit and Ohio and asking the locals to see if we could go somewhere authentic. The Michigan folks took me to freaking Texas Roadhouse and the Ohio people took me to some horrible Mexican food place. They just don't really have local food like we think of in Texas or the South.

Yea ... Cinnamon meat sauce. Not sure why those are supposed to go together. No spice whatsoever. Bland, just like Ohio people like their food.

The first time you have it, it is kinda weird but, sorta ok maybe. By the 3rd bite you realize you are eating cheap-arse cheese, limp noodles, and the chocolate/chili stuff is just bad - not a great experience and nothing you go back to for seconds.
