re: Since H2H doesn't matter, why not just crown the 1 seed of the CFP the National Champs?

It’s your fanbase that keeps screaming this narrative.

Instead of bitching about Bama, you'd better worry about finding your own back door, because if all the favorites win the conference championships, your precious whorns are sitting at home with us, but you're the one who'll be shopping for Vagisil.

I knew Bama’s acceptance rate was high but I didn’t think they’d let this kind of stupid in.

Oklahoma has 2 losses. Texas has 1. Texas is in the B12 championship. Oklahoma is not.

Oklahoma is therefore out of the conversation. Texas is not.

I tried to make that as simple as possible for you.

Even an 11 year old SEC fan knows the answer to that ridiculous question.

They do , but why don’t you?

You got beat H2H on your home field by double digits.. every sane college football fan understands this., it’s just Bama fans think it’s their birth right!

UGA is gonna take care of the issue Saturday!

I know it’s hard to be observant when your mother is also your aunt, but you do realize this entire thread is Bama fans complaining they lost to Texas right? I hope Bama beats Georgia so we get the Nick Saban “Let us in guys, we only lost one game” speech

Head to head is the end all be all in an elimination scenario…hence the term “playoffs” being used.

In the regular season head to head isn’t the end all be all with resumes when it comes to selecting teams. It’s important. But not the deciding factor alone.

You're a fricking retard. The best part of you must have run down your daddy's leg. Or maybe the doctor threw out the baby and kept the afterbirth. Either way, whatever opinions my fellow Bama fans may have doesn't negate the fact that you have fewer brain cells that the turd I dropped in the toilet 10 minutes ago.

I don't give a shite what "the rest of the thread" is saying. I know Texas goes before Bama.

What I also know is that the Georgia, FSU, Michigan, and the Pac winner all go before fricking Texas. So you'd better go get your Vagisil now so you'll have plenty on hand.

Because if H2H was the only thing that mattere

It’s not the only thing.. but they do use it when it’s available; which it rarely is. The ll look at the record.. 12-1, Conf Champs, then H2H if it exists. The only real time it has come up was OSU vs PSU in 2016, OSU ( the loser of the H2H) got the nod.. but only because PSU had 2 losses.

There hasn’t been any other case in the playoff era that H2H has come into play in deciding 1 team in and another out.. it has never been needed. Sure there have been a case where both teams got in.. but not a case where one was left out.

From the CFP website…

“ The selection committee ranks the teams based on the members’ evaluation of the teams’ performance on the field, using conference championships won, strength of schedule, head-to-head results, and comparison of results against common opponents to decide among teams that are comparable.”

*I call you retarded*
**you respond by calling me retarded**
Must’ve taken a lot of “brain cells” for that long winded comeback champ.

Anyways I don’t need vagisil. Your mom/aunt likes it when I go in raw.

You obviously didn't read the question.

How is Bama beating Georgia but UGA being ranked higher in the CFP any different from Bama being ranked higher than Texas?

FACT:
UT "took care of business" Saturday by stomping T. Tech, but Alabama crapped their nest by playing a bad Auburn team basically even. Not only will Alabama have to decisively beat Georgia, but at least two other teams beside Georgia will have to lose this weekend.
The poor showing at Auburn destroyed any hopes for leapfrogging anyone but possibly tOSU. I hate it, but .
