Mullen winning with Croom's players? Croom may not have won many games but he left the program on solid footing when he left.

State won this year with some good junior and senior leadership that were Croom's recruits. Funny how no one ever talks about the prior coach being the reason for success unless Nutt is the one taking over.

I will give Mullen credit, he is a good coach. But lets not give O all of our credit for Ole Miss's success in 2008 & 2009.

You mean like Vick Ballard, Chad Bumphis, LaDarius Perkins, Chris Smith, Brandon Heavens, Pernell McPhee, Fletcher Cox, Josh Boyd, Johnathan Banks, Wade Bonner, Cam Lawrence, Chris White, etc?

Not to mention all the players from Crooms that have drastically improved over the past two years.

Dude it's not worth it. Lose with dignity and get ready for basketball season.

NIH, I am giving Mullen credit, but most bash Nutt as if he had nothing to do with 2008 & 2009.

We definitely had some major improvement with those that O had left as well as having some freshmen and sophomores contributing.

Relf is a senior. And I think a majority of your OL is upperclassmen.

MSU won because of a favorable schedule. They didnt beat anyone good. They won 1 division game and did not one single team currently ranked in the top 25.

Everyone in the SEC wants you to keep Nutt around, so no need take up for his shitastic season.

Mullen is 0-8 against SEC West schools not named Ole Miss in his 2 years in Starkville.

So? Being 8-4 with a favorable schedule is much better than being 4-8 with a more favorable schedule.

How many teams did State beat that are going to a bowl? Is Florida it?

all those teams he lost to were better than his right now. Next season and 2012 is when it really becomes Mullens' teams in terms of recruits as they get to be juniors, RS sophs, RS freshmen, etc.

The teams that MSU BEAT had a combined record of 38-52.

MSU is much better than last year, but it is somewhat smoke and mirrors. Florida (7-5) is the only team MSU beat that had a winning record.

and? would you rather be 8-4 or 4-8? 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, etc. years from now the record books will read 8-4.

So NIH, you are admitting these really aren't Mullen's teams the past 2 years.

how? The main difference was the defense which improved in every statistical category. Rushing was static and turnover margin was better. that's what got better. pretty simple though i see youre trying to kiss some Rebel arse here.

No, what I mean is that the players he recruited for to play in the spread option will be older and in more control of this team.

Yes Mullen is winning with Croom's players. But, he's is adding in his own quality players. Nutt hasn't and won't do that.
