A more accurate way to say it is we got tired of the stupid business decisions of the league and poor footprint, AND having other programs negotiate our conference affiliation on our behalf, without our consent, to our detriment, and conference members carving out deal exclusive to them and to our detriment, and of course the whole "shadow" thing, which is a bullshite way of saying we removed the local Longhorn-centric media monopoly.
But, you keep begging the SEC for a spot. They might kick us out and give it to you.
