That isn’t a false statement at all. It’s a verifiable fact.

That is quite hilarious when you consider how many posters on this site, particularly those who don’t belong to this conference, go out of their way to follow those 5 aforementioned Aggies onto every single thread and every single post they make.

No, we upgraded to an annual Arkansas home-and-away series.

You do realize that LSU honored the last 4 years of the original contract while still having to play Arkansas, don't you?

I personally think it had to do with aTm just not being that attractive of an opponent tO LSU......as well as the many other schools that manzielathon has referenced.

This happened to West Virginia. Va tech tried to continue after it joined the acc. It’s not that Vt was “scared”, it was just that their fans had enough of traveling to Morgantown.

It comes down to this, LSU says no to Tulane. It doesn’t raise your flag like it raises theirs. We were part of the conference they so wanted to be saved from mean ole Texas by.

But it sounds so much cooler if you say that LSU was scared......over and then vet and over and over again.

That’s why it’s so hard to consider that Texas is “scared of them too. Cry sheep too much and no one believes you anymore.

Based on the results of the games, it was pretty clear Lsu didn’t want to start out every year 0-1.

So this sums up the past 6 months of laughing at aggy.

Thank you.

Yes, just like you admitted; there are five (as well as more) of you that seek attention.

I mean everyone knows that Jim Acosta works for CNN. But do they respect him?

Congrats on your life, guy.

"Their AD (DeLoss Dodds) at the time came out and said we will never play Texas A&M again, and they worked along with Baylor and the conference to have no one in the (Big 12) schedule us," Texas A&M athletic director Byrne said. "There were other forces at work to make sure we didn't play."

Kansas won't play Missouri either. You left that part out. it's because you all turned your backs on rivalries and left for this reason:

"Byrne went on to say that the Aggies don’t really need Texas anymore. Since joining the SEC, the Aggies have gone 44-21 under head coach Kevin Sumlin, along with five consecutive bowl berths.

"We have been the weak sister too long," he said via AL.com. "We were regarded as No. 2 for so long and being out of that has been a blessing for A&M."

Everybody knows this was the real reason you left. Your own athletic director let the cat out of the bag.

Oh. Now I love this.

Based on results? Yet the 7-8 of these boys claim daddy status over Texas and LSU. A combined 100+ loss record and this is what you’ve destroyed your credibility with?

There is zero confusion on why A&M left. It was an upgrade. If it wasn’t, the move wouldn’t have been made. No one can honestly argue against it.

I can plainly sense your disappointment in being political tied to a little school like Okie State

Poor sooner. Gave the Horns and Daddy Pickens a 'Yessir' all throughout alignment.

Are you calling playing Lsu Bama Auburn yearly a joke? You’d kill to have schedule near as enjoyable as ours. It isn’t a discussion.

That wasn't it at all. They were a great fit for LSU. The problem was going to an 8-game conference schedule, and we already had a longtime OOC series with Tulane. It was literally all about how many home games per season LSU needed to average in order to pay the bills, and the AD couldn't afford two annual OOC home-and-away series with that eighth SEC series.

I don't think any discussion of the history of A&M since 2012 is complete without an analysis of the facts leading up to, and aftermath, of the strike which paralyzed this board in the week or so up until, well, now, and changed the way it operated, forever.
