Argue that those points are invalid.

Our roster is more talented top to bottom than anyone in the East except UGA

Our Schedule sets up perfectly for us to make a run

And yes, there is a huge difference in our 7-6 seasons last year. We are ascending while USCjr, UF, and Mizz are descending

Opinion and unproven.

Fair point.

Last year. You realize every team makes changed and brings in new talent. Unproven talent doesn't mean bad talent.

This is the thing that bothers me. Other than in response to obvious trolls, I've never said Tennessee would for sure be bad. I give them credit that they might be a good team this year. But in response to that I get "South Carolina is definitely going to suck. Spurrier is done. I eat cocks with my a-hole"

When was the last time UT beat a conference team other than UK, Vandy, or USC?
You talk about UF and Mizzou descending, yet you couldn't beat Muschamp in a season where he went 4-8 and lost to GA Southern.

Y'all will drop games against OU, UF, Bama, Ark, UGA, and Mizzou... give or take a loss.
And we'll be hearing about how all these recruits are going to be scary good in 2016.

UT has been bad and all UT fans know it. It's what happens when you have 4 head coaches in a little over a 5 year period with one (Dooley) who will go down as the worst coach in major college football. So, UT has a excuse for being bad.

When will LSU live up to the talent they've had and having the same coaching staff during that period is not a excuse. LSU is the UGA of West...does less with more.

I agree. Florida has beaten them 10 years in a row, right? Butch jones can recruit for sure. But he hasn't proven he can win any SEC games.....except for beating the Gamecocks.

Reaction thread. Almost as pathetic as LSUs 2,3 and 4 win seasons in the 90s.

2005 - SEC West Champs
2006 - Sugar Bowl Champs #4 overall
2007 - SEC Champs, National Champs
2011 - SEC Champs, #2 overall

Add in a handful of Top 15 finishes and a loaded roster for the foreseeable future, and I'd say they're doing just fine.

Notice all of those except one are before 2010...What has happened since then with all that talent? UT has had shite talent during that time...what is LSU's excuse?

Playing in a more difficult west.

The sad part is Tennessee can't get past seven wins in the East. Even South Carolina was able to win 11 for three years in a row

They have?

UT Fans have been beating off to recruiting rankins since a couple Tennessee fans started Rivals.com.

You don't have to look far on this board to find Tenner fans claiming 2012 was their year to win the SEC because of all the young talent awaiting on campus and stacked recruiting class after stacked recruiting class.

Since it didn't happen, it was because of a lack of talent? Talk about having it both ways.

Yet again a new year with Tennessee hype and high hopes based on recruitin rankins.

Wash.
Rinse.
Repeat.

LSU's talent decided they would rather play on Sundays than Saturdays. A problem UT won't have to deal with for the foreseeable future.

It wasn't hard at all to find those predictions. Look at all those crazy Tennessee fans predicting an SEC Championship

Go back to when Dooley was hired, his first "stacked" class to add to Kiffen's "stacked" class replacing all those "bad" Fulmer players.

Tenner fans even had some other bullshite reasoning like LSU's "4 year cycle" this year, 2012 was "the" year, so it was written.

Denial is a helluva drug.

Dooley never even pulled a top 10 class in his time at Tennessee. Kiffin could pull talent but was never here for a complete recruiting cycle and the majority of his highly rated recruits were busts or thugs.

All you are telling me is Tennessee is never too quick to throw out the jump to conclusions mat, we know, we see it again with Botch.

You guys are great to hype of Botch and run down poor ole Dooley, but can't seem to properly explain why Dooley pushed Botch's shite in head to head.

You guys are great with hindsight, even if you still can't admit firing Fulmer was a mistake.

Fwiw, I've said numerous times that I'm not sure if Butch will ever win big at Tennessee. Butch is an outstanding recruiter and he wI'll either get Tennessee back to winning 10 games per year or he will be our Zook and leave the cupboard loaded for the next coach. Unlike Dooley and Kiffin to a degree.
